WMM Case Study

Working Mother Media (WMM) recently returned to KRM after doing only one event with a different web conferencing vendor. (The decision to leave KRM was made as part of their acquisition – to use the corporate-approved vendor.) The cost-savings they were counting on turned out to be a high price paid in poor quality, dissatisfied customers and lost revenue.

5 ways to get more out of your annual meeting
1. Record key sessions and/or speakers by using an on-site AV crew (We can even help you find a good one if you need.). Offer the recordings as online events (and have someone push slides or email the slides) to your members who couldn’t attend. You can also choose to have your speaker(s) provide live Q&A during your online event.

2. Record key sessions or keynote speakers and offer them as asynchronous (on-demand) online events via your website or other portal. This way your members can view the sessions when and where they want — and have time to do so — if they can’t travel to your annual conference.

3. Ask speakers to redo their annual conference session as a live webinar or streaming event with live Q&A.

4. Take recorded snippets from your annual conference sessions and put them on your website, Facebook, Twitter, newsletter, blast emails, etc. to promote additional upcoming events and/or recordings.

5. Simulcast your keynote speaker or your most popular session(s).
