As 2009 draws to a close I want to thank all of you for doing such a great job through these most challenging economic times. We've seen an increase in events, and we deeply appreciate the confidence you continue to show in KRM. As we enter 2010 and put 2009 behind us (and 2008 even further behind us!), we look forward to an improving economy ... making all of our lives (and jobs) a bit easier. We continue to work on some extraordinary new services and solutions we will launch in 2010. We hope these improvements will make working with us easier and better. I first joined KRM as an Event Coordinator. It was great - fast paced and so much fun talking to you and helping you with your events.
A couple of years ago I picked up my red squiggle pen and found my way back to marketing. One great part of my job is this newsletter. I don't actually write everything, but I'm responsible for editing and getting it to your inbox. If you find typos, you now know who to call ... and I'll be thrilled you read it closely enough to notice!
Is that less than 140?
What's not to love about social media for a person who enjoys meeting people, mingling and getting things done fast ... and faster? I have thoroughly enjoyed my part in launching KRM onto the social media scene, learning from the thought-leaders and exploring what you're doing with social media to engage your online communities.
A Netbook, an iPod and a couple of smartphones
Last year I asked my husband Kenny -- "world's biggest computer geek" -- for an anniversary ring for Christmas and I got a pink Netbook. This is my reality. You can barely find a TV in our home, but most nights you'll find two little geeks (Ella, 4, and Grant, 3) booting up their own computers to play games at fisherprice.com or to color with Junie B. Jones online.
And that pink Netbook is the greatest conversation starter I've ever had. It goes everywhere with me and everyone has a question about it. People go out of their way to talk to me - yeah! I'm not sure how my husband knew I'd enjoy it more than a ring, but I truly do!
Naughty or Nice?
When I'm not at work, you'll find me spending time with my family -- known to most as the 'Naughties!
