Happy Holidays from KRM
KRM will be closed for the Holidays — Dec. 24, Dec. 27, Dec. 31 (afternoon) and Jan. 3, 2011.
We hope you have a merry and festive Holiday Season! And, we look forward to partnering with you for continued success in 2011.
Here are a couple of Holiday recipes from our “Kookin’ KRMites” cookbook. Enjoy!
Kayla’s Chocolate Ritz Crackers from Sandy Pocernich, New Business Specialist
2 pkgs chocolate almond bark
2 boxes Ritz crackers
Lots of peanut butter (JIF works best because it’s soft)
Christmas sprinkles
Melt the chocolate almond bark on the stove in a double boiler or in the microwave. Spread peanut butter in-between two Ritz crackers and dunk it in the chocolate and add sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
Oreo Balls from Deb Warner, Event Services
1 pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 pkg. white almond bark
1 pkg. chocolate almond bark
Using a blender or hand mixer, mix crushed oreos and cream cheese together. Roll into walnut size balls. Chill for an hour. Melt approximately ¾ package of white almond bark. Stick a toothpick in an Oreo ball and dip it in the melted white almond bark. Allow to harden on wax paper. Takes about 15 minutes. While waiting, melt about ¼ package of chocolate almond bark. When Oreo balls are no longer sticky to the touch, decorate with drizzles of chocolate and white almond bark. |

"Dear KRMite ...
I'm responsible for planning webinars for my association. I keep hearing about the need to make webinars more interactive.
Why is this so important? What do adult learners expect from a webinar in 2011?
|
|
Dear "Seeking More Interaction,"
Think about it from your own standpoint as a learner: how would you describe your reaction to a learning experience in which you’re merely “talked at?” Not too effective, I’d bet. Yet that is often what happens in a webinar environment – mostly because we don’t always make the time to ensure an effective learning experience for the learner.

“Putting our participant's kits together is easy with the help and expertise provided by KRM's knowledgeable team. Many times we have different types and sizes of documents that need to be assembled into one file. KRM compiles all the files and proofs them in a timely manner enabling us to provide our registrants with their participant's kits on time. The entire process is very efficient and is greatly appreciated by our participants. It's also a huge time-saver for us!”
Cari Hearn, American Bankers Association
“KRM's handout packet service is well worth the expense because it is a great time and stress saver! I send a mixture of Word, PowerPoint and pdf files with a pagination list and KRM takes it from there. Usually, less than a day later I get a proof with an attractive cover and pagination, all in the order I laid out in a pdf file. After proofing, the handouts are distributed in a timely and efficient manner and there are no worries. Any technical or other issues are resolved quickly. No muss, no fuss!”
Eileen Joschko, American Dietetic Association
