Changes to my.krm.com in 2010
A message from KRM's President and CEO , Rick Olson
Last September, I announced we were making updates to my.krm.com -- the KRM extranet. In today's fast-paced world, you are increasingly tasked with getting hot topics and need-to-know information to your audience as quickly as possible.
With fewer staff, reduced resources and limited budgets, we recognize that building successful audio, web, streaming and video events is more demanding than ever before. You are probably looking for a little help, and some relief!
Progress with the help of your feedback Thanks to your valuable feedback and input, we continue to develop and improve the KRM extranet. In December, we did a prototype review with five clients and received wonderful feedback. This generated a lot of excitement about the new functionality. Excitement on the horizon ... My.krm.com will make building your events easier and less time consuming, and will include many new features and benefits. Here is just a glimpse at all the exciting new improvements coming your way:
- Timeline with information about what you need to do for your live events and when you need to do it
- Reminders of tasks and deadlines - visible on the extranet and via optional email reminders
- Places for you to submit your specific event information online (no more CREI forms)
- Sample documents and other resources to answer your questions about how to do specific tasks - like a help center
Upload and store materials, event details, speaker information, etc. in one convenient place
- Access 24 hours a day -- 7 days a week
- And much more!
We heard you and understand you need more than just professional services, support and resources from a reliable web conferencing partner. This is why we continue to work on my.krm.com and will have a release ready for testing early in 2010. Services Showcase: Certificates of attendance + site roster = easy and convenient

Fun Quick Facts Team Role: Virtual Events Planner Years with KRM team: 17 in April! (Um ... Would you believe I started when I was 14?!) Hobbies/Interests: Travel is my #1 passion. My husband Tim and I have had the good fortune to visit many of the greatest cities in this country, and have been able to escape the seemingly endless Wisconsin winters to Mexico and the Caribbean a few times. But the highlight for me was the week we spent in China last fall. We traveled to Beijing and Shanghai with a group of about 60 from our local Chamber of Commerce and enjoyed many fabulous sites in a too-short amount of time. Throughout my 17 years at KRM, I have pretty much come full circle - from a seminar planner with PESI, KRM's sister company, to account manager and back to "virtual events" planner. For most of my years as a KRMite, I enjoyed life as an account manager and absolutely loved my role of "client development." I liked the energy and creativity of helping you plan and execute your virtual events, as well as brainstorming new ideas and solutions to meet your e-learning needs. About two years ago I joined KRM's Merry Band of Maniacal Marketers, where I still get to interact with many of you as the coordinator of KRM Virtual Podium®. I also have the pleasure of planning webinars and webcasts for clients (that's you) and prospective clients ... just like the "old days." Eat, Drink and Be Mary When I'm not planning compelling webinars, I enjoy crossing t's and dotting i's, the ancient art of sarcasm, making jewelry and driving my sporty convertible. My other hobbies include gardening and ... enjoying music, wine, food and laughter with friends. Tidbit: I have climbed two of (what many consider to be) the 7 Wonders of the World: Chichen Itza in Mexico and the Great Wall of China.
