Streaming events are the newest, cost-effective event format
A message from KRM President and CEO, Rick Olson I’ve mentioned the economy and the challenges
we are facing many times in our newsletter and I
understand you're continuing to do more with fewer dollars, people and
resources.
In the previous issue, we talked about how to pick an event format.
Today I want to give you
examples regarding the cost differences
between event formats.
For demonstration
purposes, let’s assume 100 registrants for a 90-minute event.
Below are
the core fees for a pay-to-attend event. These numbers do not
include standard fees that don’t change from one event format to another or
optional services like recordings, registration and support, evaluation forms,
and more.
Audio Streaming: $3135
Production
fee: $2985 + $1.50 x 100
Video Streaming: $3650
Production
fee: $3500 + $1.50 x 100
Audio Conference:
$4250
Production
fee: $350 + $39 each x 100
Webinar: $5395
Production
fee: $495 + $49 each x 100
As you can
see, streaming event formats offer you a cost effective alternative for
delivering information to your audience. Let us know if you’d like to discuss all
the benefits of streaming events.
Warm regards,
Rick

For those of you who’ve bee n around a few years, you
probably remember me from Event Services
— where I spent my first 6 years working with you on your event materials,
evaluation summaries, polling, etc.
As you can tell by my picture, I am a HUGE Packers fan! I
eat, sleep, breathe and bleed green and gold all year long. My Dad and I are
lucky enough to be Lambeau Field (the greatest spot on earth!) season ticket
holders. I love anything and everything football related.
My other passion is baseball. I’ve spent the last 19 (and
counting!) summers of my life in a baseball dugout. For a majority of those
years, I was in charge of an entire baseball program. I was part of two state
championships and I am closing in on 450 wins this summer.
I also love baseball stadiums. Ten years ago, I went on the
ultimate baseball roadtrip with four great friends and visited seven stadiums
on the east coast, plus a side trip to Cooperstown,
NY and the MLB Hall of Fame.
Fenway was phenomenal. Old Yankee Stadium wasn't bad either.
I have a wonderful family that includes my parents, who are
my best friends and a younger brother, Adam, who lives in Phoenix. My Dad enjoys my sports craziness
and my mom shares my scrapbook and stamping addiction. My brother and I are the
movie nuts and I enjoy visiting him in sunny Phoenix, especially during spring training
and when the Super Bowl was there in 2008.
