Creative, money-saving (and making) ideas

A message from KRM's President and CEO, Rick Olson

We've been talking with many of you recently who are interested in doing new things to get more registrants for events or finding creative ways to subsidize the training and education you need to provide to members.

Sponsors
In exchange for financially supporting events, sponsors get recognition in your promotional materials and during your events. You may also choose to offer your sponsors a number of registrations and/or recordings as a gesture of thanks for their support.

Social media
Some of you are trying new methods of promoting your events using social media. You can use your blog, website, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc., to reach a wider audience and rely on your followers and friends to "spread the word" about your events.

Finding more registrants
We've also seen clients take events that were once for their members only and open them up to non-members by creating a non-member registration rate. Offering events to a much broader audience helps increase registrations, and ultimately, increases non-dues revenue!

Another way to get more registrations is to work with other organizations like yours to promote each other's events. You get the chance for more people to hear about and benefit from your event and you get to offer your audience more information than you can produce on your own.

Call us today at 800.816.2640 to brainstorm new ideas for increasing registrations.

Kind regards,
Rick
Services Showcase:  Video of your presenter

Benefits of having video of your speaker in a streaming event
  • Increases audience engagement by allowing your audience to not only hear your presenters, but see them too.
  • Satisfies visual learners who need to see a presenter in order to "hear" them.
  • Presenters who have a message that needs body language and gestures to deliver it effectively can enhance their message.
  • Adds a new and "exciting" element to your events if you've never used video before.
It's easier than you think
KRM's expert consultants will work with you to answer all of your questions, as well as help you to determine how to use video effectively, when to use it in your events, what needs to be done, etc.

So many considerations ... and KRM can help.
  • New, interesting and different experience for your audience
  • Adds interest and increases engagement
  • Great option for attendees to see a well-known speaker
  • Presenters must be comfortable on camera

Meet Jodi ... Jodi martens

My role as Event Assist is to delight clients (that's you) and exceed all of your expectations. The part of my job I love the most is the variety of work I get to do every day.

And, with 15 years of customer service experience, I appreciate the opportunity to talk with you on the phone, answer your questions and respond to your requests. I'm also quite the talker and enjoy problem solving and working with my fellow "krmites" to brainstorm solutions to fit your needs.

Dotting the i's and crossing the t's.
Does it delight you to find grammar errors on road signs and advertisements? It sure is fun for me! I think this is why I take such pride in looking over the details of each event. I absolutely love to make sure everything is correct - and that all the evil errors are caught.

Safety first (with the help of bubble wrap)
I tend to over-plan, overly protect and obnoxiously worry about safety and making sure all the details are properly put in place. This is a characteristic that drives my husband Barry a tad crazy, but it's thoroughly appreciated at work every day ... and even acts as part of my job.

When I take a break from all the planning and safety-precautions, I enjoy spending time with my 10-year-old son, Jake, my husband, and all of our family and friends - boating and bonfires to computer games and HGTV.
