Have we earned the right to ask you for a referral?

Think about the last time you read a really good book and couldn’t wait to tell a friend about it. Or when you saw great movie and couldn’t stop telling friends they just have to see it? Or, you went to a wonderful restaurant with exceptional customer service and raved about it to your family and friends.

And, on the flip side, think about how much you appreciate a referral to a trusted mechanic, doctor, computer consultant, electrician –- referrals you needed and relied on in guiding your decision.

We hope this is the way you feel about KRM –- a partner you would trust to refer to others in need of help selecting a web conferencing provider … a great experience you want to share with your peers who would enjoy and appreciate working with KRM –- for all the same reasons you choose to.

KRM Client Summit 2011

Collaborating and Sharing in Chicago

A message from President and CEO, Rick Olson

The 2nd Annual KRM Client Summit took place April 13th in the Chicago area, and it was a great success! A non-stop flow of Insights and ideas were shared among clients and KRMites.

This lively gathering focused on practical and useful tips, as well as best practices for successful virtual events. And, there was plenty of time to collaborate and network with one another too.

We discussed many exciting, topics including:
  • Creative was to reach all your members given changing demographics and evolving needs
  • Member engagement strategies
  • Overcoming the competition from “free sources” and remaining relevant to your members
  • How to get the most out of your webinar marketing efforts

Some KRM Summit attendees were brand-new to the webinar world and others have been doing them for years, which made for a dynamic variety of perspectives and ideas. We also shared an  “Action Guide” (Make link to action guide) with attendees to write down feedback, tips, trends and strategies during the summit to take with them and use in planning  future webinars

.

We received positive feedback from clients who attended, telling us it was a worthwhile use of their time and that they could not wait to get back to their offices to start using the new ideas generated from the summit.

We are thankful for the clients who were able to join us and take time out of their busy schedules. And, we look forward to opportunities to meet more of you in person at a future KRM Client Summit.

"Dear KRMite ..."

  • Is it possible that the upcoming “summer days” can be successful for our association’s webinars and online learning events?
  • Is there a cure for what is perceived as the “summertime blues” for events?
Signed,
Looking to Heat Up my Summer Event Schedule

Dear “Looking to Heat Up My Summer …”

The answer is absolutely!
And, many of our clients have quietly, but confidently, utilized the summer months to continue the successful patterns they have established from September through May.

Indeed there are particular types of associations or organizations that perhaps don’t enjoy the same level of attendance successes during the summer; however, the majority of our clients continue to see consistent attendance with their June, July, and August efforts that rivals, or in some cases even exceeds, the other nine months of the year.

Here are some other golden summertime nuggets:

  • Hold an “encore” presentation of a high-attended online event, so that those who missed it the first time around have the opportunity to attend
  • Schedule a “hot topic” or quick-turnaround “must-know” event during the summer months (Remember: KRM will work with you in a short timeframe on a hot topic or rule and/or law change, etc.)
  • Promote recordings of past live programs. Summer is a perfect time for your members to catch up on what they missed during the past 9 months, and recordings are a convenient way for the to “catch up”
  • Start the fall harvest early … summer is also a great time to plant the seeds early for those late summer and early fall webinars – maybe even offer “early bird” rates
Your Account Manager (Christopher, Amy, Wayne, or Ann) would love to visit with you and share our experience with successful summertime strategies that have worked for many of our clients. Call us today at 800.816.2640 to learn more.
