Testimonial
"As our web conferencing partner for more than 10 years, KRM was the clear choice to help us with a special project to create 14 recordings for our Virtual Conference. We are extremely pleased with the look and quality of the recordings and appreciate the top-notch, first-class professionalism we received from the entire KRM team. They worked well with our speakers and, as always, really made us all look good."

A new way of learning and obtaining information

A message from KRM President and CEO, Rick Olson

When I started in the seminar business over 33 years ago, we did everything face-to-face and then sold recordings on cassette tapes.

With the creation of KRM more than 16 years ago, telephone seminars were a “new” way for your members to get the information they wanted and needed where they wanted it — from the convenience of their own office or home. As technology evolved, so have the types of recordings — first on cassette, then CD and now on-demand and downloadable.

More and more, we hear that your members want and need to get their information where and WHEN they want it. For many of you, it’s ideal to offer your content in a live format to allow for interactive questions and then to record the content to be sold later — still a very effective model.
For others who need to accommodate members who cannot attend scheduled “live” events —  like Tuesday at 2 p.m. — the answer is to create a recording and sell it , without offering a live event first.

KRM can help with that.
We have a special recording session service that allows you to cost-effectively create recordings. You can choose from a large variety of recording formats — whatever fits your needs. You can also choose to have us take orders and handle fulfillment of the orders.

More than ever, it’s important to consider where, when and how your members want to receive information. Call us today at 800.816.2640 to discuss the best way to reach your audience.

Kind regards,
Rick

Services Showcase: Recording Sessions

  • Does your audience want information “to go” or at a time convenient to them?
  • Has your organization entered the “TiVo” world?
  • Do your members have less time to attend your live events?
  • Do you have content you can re-purpose and recycle?
  • Do you need recordings for your website?
  • Are you interested in recording your face-to-face conferences, meetings or well-known speakers to put (and maybe even sell) on your website?
  • Do you have an LMS you use to distribute your content?
KRM can help! We offer a special recording session service. You’ll work with one of our media production engineers who are specially trained and have all the highly sophisticated studio equipment needed to create high-quality, professional recordings.

Whether you need MP3, on-demand, Flash or any other format, we can help you create a recording to fit your needs. The best part: Your presenters don’t need to travel to a studio. We can contact your presenters via phone or the web to capture the recording and then encode it to your specifications.

We also offer specialized consulting to help you find ways to increase your revenue and member satisfaction. Call your Account Manager, Ann, Chris, Janette or Wayne at 800.816.2640, to brainstorm ways we can help you meet the challenges of today’s on-the-go world.

KRMite Spotlight on ... Don Roux

Team Role: Moderator
Years with KRM team: 6.5
Hobbies/interests:
Sports, especially the Milwaukee Brewers, politics and music. We have a Karaoke system at home and I have been known to entertain all that won’t run away with a variety of my favorite tunes! (Earplugs not included!) I also have way too many collections to list here. Dealing with the various collections proves to be a challenge as I am known as a neat freak by friends and family. My motto is a place for everything and everything in its place. I think we need a bigger house!

Meet Don …
As a former radio personality with 22+ years of on-air experience, there are few places I’m more comfortable than in a KRM mod room interacting with your presenters and audience. As a KRM moderator I thrive on the excitement of being a part of the event, especially the moment we “go live."

One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is helping speakers who are nervous, apprehensive or self conscious — answering all their questions, building their confidence and making them feel comfortable about their event.

The greatest part about my job is the privilege of working with you and your presenters to create interesting and successful events. It’s a great feeling of satisfaction to make the experience for you and your presenters as painless and rewarding as possible. And, it really brightens my day to receive positive feedback from doing so!

Don Roux’s Morning Crew
During my time in the radio business I had a highly rated talk show — “Don Roux’s morning crew.” I also worked in the world of independent professional wrestling as a television commentator, manager and occasional wrestler. And while I have now put away the spandex and wrestling boots, I still put on my gear for the occasional benefit show or special event.

My wife Valerie and I have married for nearly 20 years and have two adult children, Don Jr. and Eric.
