Do you need video for your events?

A message from KRM's President and CEO, Rick Olson

One question we hear more often today than ever before is,

"How can I make video work for my events?"

KRM has offered
video conferencing services for many years and we are excited to see its popularity, interest and usage increase.

The heart of the answer to this question is whether using video will improve and enhance your events. In many cases, video is an ideal format. Perhaps adding a video clip to your webinar will help deliver your message more effectively. However, based on more than 15 years in the industry, we know it's important to follow this one rule:

"Don't let technology drive your message." In other words, don't use video just because it's available. It's more important to design your message; then determine which format is the best to deliver it effectively.

Video considerations

  • New, interesting and different experience for your audience
  • Adds interest and increases engagement
  • Easier to do than ever before
  • Great option for attendees to see a well-known speaker
  • Presenters have to be comfortable on camera
  • Requires higher bandwidth
  • Not an effective format for all messages or audiences
  • Is cost effective and scales well to large audiences
The bottom line
We want to partner with you to make all your events successful and profitable -
audio, web, video and streaming. Let us know if you'd like a free consultation and brainstorming session to see if video is the right solution for your events and your audience.

Kind regards,
Rick

Meet Candis  ...
My passion is helping people, which is why I enjoy talking on the phone and assisting you, our clients, every day with your events!

It's rewarding and gratifying to answer your questions, schedule your events and orientation calls and help you resolve any issues. I am very customer service focused and strive to make working with KRM as easy and enjoyable for you as possible.

In addition to my current role in production at KRM, I also worked very closely with your registrants as a Customer Service Representative for a year. Before joining KRM, I worked in customer service for seven years.

Super!
I like working hard, but having fun while working is the only way to make every day more enjoyable. I've been told I have a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh, which is appreciated at work, but unappreciated by my daughters (13 and 15 years old) who tell me I have a "loud, teenage annoying laugh."

If you ever stop by to visit us at KRM (Fall is a great season to do so by the way) ...  just listen for the word "Super" echoing from a cube ... and you know you'll have found me.

On the weekends you'll find me cheering at our local high school football game, volunteering at church and possibly enjoying a beer with the neighbors. We take Leinenkugel's very seriously around here.

Cheers!
