Downtown Justice Center Opening in December

The County was notified last week on Aug. 15 that the Downtown Justice Center opening date has been delayed until December.

We are evaluating our current plans to adjust where needed to make sure the project is complete in early December – then we can start moving equipment and furniture in to the building ahead of the public opening of the Downtown Justice Center.

For those who may have proceedings scheduled this fall, the Court's team will notify you as soon as they are able to update the District Court and Circuit Court's schedules. We know this is a disruption, and we share in your frustration but we will keep you informed as things progress.
