Kudos to the City of Kalamazoo and the County Drain Commissioner

When a drain in Kalamazoo decided to go on strike, the Kalamazoo County Drain Commissioner's Office and The City of Kalamazoo, Michigan teamed up to save the day in the face of some serious liquid adversity.

After receiving a distress call about a stubbornly clogged drain yesterday afternoon, the Drain Commissioner Jason Wiersma's team arrived within 15 minutes. Called in for backup, a team of city workers raced to the scene within 10 minutes to join the drain-clearing party. For an hour and a half, these brave souls battled the stubborn obstruction, pulling out all the stops—and, believe it or not, a TV.

With the drain finally set free from its trashy prison, the water level dropped a whopping 5 feet, and everything returned to normal. Crisis averted!

Let's give a big shoutout to the City of Kalamazoo for their speedy response and invaluable assistance in this watery saga. Kudos to the unsung heroes who keep our drains free from trouble and our TVs where they belong.
