The Corbett Foundation is honoured to receive the TOFTigers - Sanctuary Award for the best "Wildlife Tourism Related Community Initiative" of the year 2014. The award was presented on 19th September at a grand function co-hosted by the British High Commissioner, Sir James Bevan KCMG, at his residence in Delhi.On behalf of the Trustees and the 80-strong team of employees, The Corbett Foundation would like to thank Travel Operators for Tigers (TOFT), Sanctuary Asia and the jury members for this honour and recognition of the Foundation’s work.

VOTE FOR TIGER CONSERVATION |
The Corbett Foundation's project "Community based conservation of tiger habitat" to be implemented in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve has been short-listed for funding by European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA). The project aims to reduce anthropogenic pressures on Bandhavgarh's tiger habitat by promoting stall feeding of cattle and providing biogas plants and energy-efficient stoves to the villagers, addressing the issue of solid waste, clearing invasive weeds, and developing a nature trail for visitors. We urge you to please spare a minute and cast your VOTE and help conserve the tiger and its habitat in Bandhavgarh. The voting is open from 22 September to 6 October, 2014.
