 | | AN ALTERNATIVE TO BANK FINANCING IS FINALLY HERE!
Merchant Express Capital is a proud new member of MainstreetChamber. The principles of Merchant Express Capital have been life-long entrepreneurs and have been providing real estate development and SBA financing for over 25 years.
Realizing first-hand that most businesses today don't meet standard SBA or bank guidelines, we were inspired to offer business owners an alternative. As banks folded like lawn chairs and remaining banks tightening their credit standards in an attempt to avoid the same fate, less capital is currently available. Small businesses are having to find alternative ways to obtain necessary funding. Increasing home values during previous years which yielded easily available lines of credit enabled many small business owners to leverage their assets to obtain necessary capital. Due to the downturn in real estate markets nation-wide, problems within the banking community as a whole, and the fact that nearly everyone's credit has suffered in one form or another; there are relatively few funding alternatives for the small business owner today. The alternative to a cash flow and/or working capital problem is MEC's Merchant/Business cash advance.
Thousands of firms, perhaps yours, receive a majority of their revenue in the form of cash and credit card sales. However, for many firms, cash on-hand and current sales are not sufficient to obtain inventory purchasing power, expand operations and/or locations, provide for much-needed advertising & marketing, or to address unexpected expenditures as they occur. You may be asking yourself, how does this type of funding work? You may have heard of a type of business financing known as factoring. In a nutshell, factoring is the financing of your receivables after they are generated. In essence, your company can receive funding today rather than wait for your receivables to come in over the next 30, 60, or 90 days. Much like receivables factoring, our advances factor your future MasterCard and Visa sales so you can get your money TODAY.
Our underwriting criteria is much simpler than standard bank financing and requires very little paper work. For instance: If you have been in business for a minimum of 9 months, generate an average minimum of $5,000 per month in combined MasterCard and Visa volume, and have an average ticket/transaction of $500 or less; you likely qualify for our advance. We will render a decision within 48 hours of receiving your application and can have funds wired into your business account in as little as 5 business days.
Some additional features of MEC's advance are:
· No Financial statement required
· No Tax returns required
· Unlike Banks, there are never any up-front fees and we don't charge Points either
While our program isn't geared towards every business and every business isn't geared for our program, we look to invest with the type of business owner who can take a dollar and turn it into $2. Our advances are for businesses unable to obtain funds from conventional sources like banks. If you are able to get the money your business needs from your bank, we recommend you do so.
