Bring your students to our STEM Festival in celebration of British Science Week. This exhibition style event offers attendees a unique opportunity to explore STEM subjects through a variety of interactive activities and demonstrations, delivered by academic staff and students from School of Science & Technology. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak to our current students about their university experiences as well as to explore future pathways. Our STEM Festival will take place on 16 March 2016.

This thought-provoking workshop for year 12 students introduces ways of understanding and formulating problems by working in groups through fun, hands-on activities. The objective of the workshop is to help pupils grasp what mathematics is, what it is that mathematicians accomplish, and how to think like a mathematician.
