With 2012 at a close, OrthoEvidence has reached several milestones that are a true testament to you and our overall database of users. Below are some of the key highlights from this past year:
  • OrthoEvidence has expanded globally and is now being accessed in over 100 countries worldwide
  • Updates of best evidence are regularly delivered to over 25,000 orthopaedic healthcare professionals
  • Successful partnerships were obtained with several key organizations including:
    • Canadian Orthopaedic Association
    • International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery
    • The International Society for of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Medicine
    • The European Society of Sports Traumatology Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy
    • Swedish Orthopaedic Association
    • Surgical Implant Generation Network
    • The South African Sports Association
    • Italian Society of Muscles, Ligaments and Tendons
  • 1200 ACE Reports have been added, and this number is growing on weekly basis
  • Our educational video database now contains 21 videos and is expanding to include more videos covering the basics of clinical research
  • Two new Evidence reports have been introduced: ACE Reviews and Conference Presentation summaries. We are very excited about these new content additions as we continue to expand our reach in field of orthopaedics.
During the New Year, we hope you stay tuned for several new additions to the website. These include unique features such as live online journal clubs and quiz questions on ACE Reports. With these two additions, we hope that the site will become your favorite resource for all evidence in orthopaedics.
