One Child's Story
As Mark, a new resident at Palmetto Place, was playing basketball, he continually said, "I can't do it." He became frustrated and wanted to quit playing. Another child, Sam, who had been here a while, told Mark that he could do it, he just needed to practice. Mark tried again and was able to make the basket! His confidence was boosted and now he will be able to share that confidence with another child. |

Hello
We want to thank Aun & McKay for their recent Radiothon. It raised almost $4,000 for the kids of Palmetto Place! What a great way to start the year!
The kids have been having lots of fun recently. We have had a dance recital, a visit to the Ringling Brothers Circus, and a trip to EdVenture. The fire department even came to visit the kids! We plan to have a Valentine's Day party, go skating, and visit the park in February.
We have also had some amazing volunteers recently who have worked hard to organize, declutter, and even repair our fence. Thank you to everyone who has worked hard to make Palmetto Place a great environment for our kids!
