Pre-Registration for COVID Vaccine Now Available Through STL County Health Department

St. Louis County Department of Health announced today that all residents may begin pre-registering for the COVID vaccine. To pre-register, you will need to fill out a short survey which asks several questions that will help the health department sort residents into their appropriate phase. You may fill out the survery here.

When you meet the current eligibility criteria for the phase the county is in and as they receive vaccine, the health department will email you with a link to schedule an appointment. Please be aware that it may be several weeks before you hear from the health department. While currently still in Phase 1a of distribution, the county is preparing to open up to Phase 1b over the next several weeks. They appear to be following the guidelines first sent out by Missouri a few months ago. This differs from the tiers we shared in our most recent newsletter. You may find Missouri's phases listed below. For more information, please visit stlcorona.com/covid19-vaccines or email DPHCOVIDvaccine@stlouisco.com.

In the meantime, we are still anticipating being approved as a distributor of the vaccine by Missouri. We will keep you updated as we learn more on that timeline. We suggest receiving the vaccine through the health department if you hear from them before we receive our shipment. As always, please just let us know if you receive the vaccine elsewhere, so we can update your chart accordingly.

Appointment Reminders:

*Please alert our office before coming in for your appointment if you develop any cold or cough symptoms or are feeling sick in any way that your doctor is not already aware. We will notify your doctor to determine if your appointment should be changed to a drive-up appointment.

*When you arrive for your appointment, either for an office visit or a lab draw, please call our office from your car before coming in. We'll let you know if it's ok to head in or if you need to wait just a bit. This allows us to manage traffic flow and properly sanitize rooms between patients. When you've been cleared to come in, please knock and wait in the hall right outside our door. One of us will meet you there to take your temperature. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and healthy!
