Dear GayleFORCE Fitness Friends,
If you received my January News Flash, you know that a few additional projects have been added to my plate. Thankfully, all are coming along at a steady pace, and I’m on track with my schedule.
I was not sure that I would be able to compete this year due to time constraints, and perhaps more importantly, energy levels. However, I’ve thought it over long and hard, and decided that I will compete in June; and, if I qualify, again in October at the World Championships. Exact dates and locations will follow soon. My decision to compete may change, but it's definitely better to have it in my calendar and plan/work towards it.
In a few weeks, as is usual, I will no doubt ask myself “What on earth was I thinking?” but for now, I’m in the game and pacing myself.

I am so thrilled to be have been invited to be a guest speaker at the Teachers Preparatory School’s Annual Career Day. I will be sharing my thoughts, insights, and various experiences regarding making career choices and setting goals, so that the students will have a solid understanding of how best to navigate the various roads and pathways of the “working” world; in addition to achieving success in their professional and career choices.
