Leading by Example!
The Bright Side of the Plateau!

Backstage with bubbly Rene!
Dear Friends,

It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone!  2010 seemed to fly by with me trying to keep up!  So many things to do, and so little time to them. Nevertheless, it felt great to be able to put those many things aside and really relax, if only for a few days.  I hope that you did too, and enjoyed Thanksgiving to your hearts and stomachs content!

In this issue you’ll find a pleasant surprise in GayleFORCE FIT TIPS! 'A State of Plateau', as I touch on what many view as a workout negative …the “Plateau”.  This bit of information might well change your viewpoint, and be the encouragement you need to put more effort into your current fitness program; so get ready to look at the bright side of reaching a Plateau!

Are you a healthy adult under 65-years of age?  Then check out the Stats & Facts section for the current ACSM and AHA health recommendations. If you put this basic information into practice, you can rest assured you are on the right track to continuous health and longevity.

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to show support and cheer me on at the WNBF 2010 ‘Natures Best’ World Championships.  I’ve attached a few snapshots below.~SG

Your Questions Answered

Quality over Quantity.

Dear Sharon.  I’ve been going to the gym 6-days per week for the past 3-years. Very rarely do I take a day off.  I used to go 4x per week for about 3 years prior, but wanted to lose more weight and tighten-up; so I thought more would be better.  What am I doing wrong?  I look the same!  Help please. ~Lydia Chester, Farmingdale, LI.

Lydia, I think we would all agree that more is not necessarily better, unless we’re speaking about laughter! Read More.

Testimonials

Sharon, Lisa checking in. Your online plan was very really helpful to me and I use the daily workout plans. Further- I find your plan ideal for executives with tight schedules.  Your plans are focused on using fitness time wisely ...I am still going to the gym 5-6 days per week and feeling great! I feel confident that I will continue with my plan and am positive about my health and fitness goals.

I am a wife, mother of 2 and busy executive.  Your newsletter inspires me to keep making progress and be the best I can be.
Thanks for positive message! ~Lisa Waters, New York, NY.
