Friday, April 20th, 6:00-8:00pm at Dorset Park. Come celebrate the first warm days of Spring and the opportunity to get out in the parks. Bring your own kite or come make one with us. We will provide all the materials for your family to create your own family kite. Color it, Construct it, and then Fly it. This event will be held at the Band Shell at Dorset Park and is FREE!  One Kite Kit per family.
S.A.P.L.I.N.G.S. Event 

Seniors And Preschoolers Linking Intergenerational Needs & Growing Successful Communities.  The saplings program is a collaborative effort between South Burlington Recreation & Parks and the South Burlington Family Center, to meet the needs of the early preschool and senior populations in our community.  The Saplings meet once per month to participate in a variety of themed activities including Story time, craft projects, coloring contests, sing-a-longs, sharing, games and more.  Whether you are a grandparent looking for a fun activity to do with your grandchild, a mom of a preschooler who is looking for an outlet and some adult conversation, or a senior who is longing for the laughter of little ones, this program is for you!  The Sapling events are open and free to all South Burlington Residents.  April’s SAPLINGS Event- Tuesday April 3rd from 9:30-11:00 at City Hall for our exploration into “Marvelous Maple”; to include samples of pancakes with maple syrup and a reading of "If you give a pig a pancake".   Please call the Recreation Department to pre-register and for further information at 846-4108.  Hope to see you there!
Meet & Eat Gatherings

 “Peace of Mind”.  Join us Wed, April 18th at 12:00pm at City Hall, as representatives from Ready Funeral Home provide a catered lunch and review their available services to assist in providing “peace of mind” to you and your family during times of sorrow.   This is a free program open to South Burlington Seniors.  Pre-Registration is required, please call 846-4108 to get your name on the list.

Brain Games”.  Join us Wed, April 4th at 12:00 for “Brain Games”, a Meet and Eat at City Hall.  We will provide a simple meal of pizza and root beer floats, as we enjoy each others company.  After lunch, we will learn strategies for exercising our minds while we try our hand at a variety of games proven to enhance cognition.  It will be a fun filled afternoon with plenty of take home ideas!  This is a free program open to all South Burlington senior citizens; to register please call the Recreation Department at 846-4108. 

April Vacation Camp
Your child can join us and their friends during the April School Break for some fun indoor and outdoor activities.  Our Vacation Camps are a fun, safe and enjoyable place to be.  April Vacation Camp will be Monday- Friday, April 23-27, 8:00am-5:00pm.  You can register your child for all 5 days or any number that they would like.  There is a daily option price for those that only need a few days.  There is also the Early and Late options, for those parents that need to drop off prior to 8:00am and need to pick up after 5:00pm.  Early option is 7:30-8:00am and late options is 5:00-5:30pm.  There is an slight extra cost for these options.  Weekly Price is $100 Res., $120 Non-Res.  Daily Option is $25 Res., $30 Non-Res. per day.  We hope to see your child this April!
SB Remembers- Veterans Memorial Fund
