16th Annual Valentine Dance
The Valentine Dance Tickets, for Feb. 11, 2012, are on sale Now for 5th Girls in South Burlington. The dances are- Afternoon Dance- 3:00-5:00pm, Evening Dance- 7:00-9:00pm. The Valentine Dance is for girls in grades 1st-5th and a special male in their lives. This festive event includes refreshments, gifts, picture taking, special prize giveaways, and dancing with the ever popular DJ, Daren Cassani of Top Hat Entertainment. Be sure to mark your calendar and not miss out on this very special event. Tickets are $36.00 per couple. A separate Valentine Registration Form is needed to purchase tickets. The form is available at the Recreation Office and on our website- www.sburlrecdept.com. Tickets can NOT be purchased on-line, by phone or mailed-in.

February Vacation Camp
February Vacation Camp. K-6th Grades. Come spend some time with us during the school break for a fun, safe, and enjoyable place to be with friends. Activities include indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, and special themed activities. Sign up for the 5 days or just a few. Need to drop off early or pick up late? Options available. Feb. Vacation Camp- Monday-Friday, Feb. 27- Mar. 2, 8:00am-5:00pm. $100Res., $120 Non-Res. Daily Option Price- $25 Res., $30 Non-Res. Early Drop-Off and Late Pick-Up Options: Early Drop-Off- 7:30-8:00am. $1 Res., $2 Non-Res. - Per Day. Late Pick-Up- 5:00-5:30pm. $1 Res., $2 Non-Res. - Per Day.

The Spring/Summer Brochure will be distributed in early February through "The Other Paper". It will also be avaiable as a digital copy on our website and our On-Line Registration Site will have up to date and up to minute information. The brochure will have Spring/Summer programs as well as our camp offerings for this Summer. Look for your copy in early February.

Spring Community Chorus
The South Burlington Community Chorus invites you to come ‘n sing with us this spring, as conductor Piero Bonamico leads a program of hits from Broadway’s Golden Era. Rehearsals start January 30 and are held on Monday evenings from 7-9 pm, in the Multi-Purpose Room at the South Burlington High School. Singers are asked to pay a $50 registration fee, and the cost of music is $16 for the semester. You can register online through the South Burlington Recreation Department at www.sburlrecdept.com, in the “Education and Hobbies” section.
