Speaking of communication efforts, we'd like to celebrate the feedback we've been getting from our patients and other readers. It's great when we hear from you, good or bad, because it tells us that you're reading our newsletter and blogs. Thanks for doing that!!
HERE'S A SAMPLE OF WHAT OUR READERS SAID:
"Very nice -- but no mention of wax clogged devices!!! Love, Bob"
"Hi, I enjoyed your latest website remarks. Your invitation to secure an interesting publication at your offices should have folks practically stampeding though your doors. What a timely offering !! Jerry "
"Please send these e-mails to my home address from now on. Thanks for the wonderful last visit. You are the best Holly and Sharon!! James"
HERE'S HOW WE RESPONDED: We called Bob and fixed the clogging; we're still waiting for Jerry's predicted stampede; we updated James' email address and told him he's the best, too!
Noise -- Our Nemesis
We're back on the noise bandwagon, thanks to a recent article in the New York Times on ear protection for children. Just think -- we'd be out of business if this information had been available to our patients 50-70 years ago -- wouldn't that be great!? It's not too late to protect hearing, even if you already have hearing loss. Please click hear to read the article:

Here's a great comment we received on that post from the Operations Manager of an Austrailian company that manufacturers protection clothing and headgear for children:
I am so glad that you saw this article! I am a UofA alumna – 2004 – I studied Speech Language Pathology, Audiology and Linguistics there. I am so glad that a practice from my home community has been able to see this and share it with their patients! All the best, Shari
We Love Holidays, but .... Merry Christmas? On a parting note, we received this very complementary but somewhat confusing comment on March 10:
I really like your writing style, its not generic and extremly long and tedious like a lot of blog posts I read, you get to the point and I really enjoy reading your articles! Oh, and merry Christmas! Anonymous
