Justin Lancaster - Angler, Arkansas

Full Name: Justin Lee Lancaster
Age: 32
Hometown: Plainview, Arkansas
State Federation: Arkansas
Division: Central
Occupation: Self-Employed Carpenter
Family: I am married to my wonderful wife Mandy Lancaster. We have two beautiful daughters Brooklyn Lancaster age 12 and Ashton Lancaster Age 6
When & why did you begin bass fishing? I have always loved bass fishing. I started bass fishing probably at the age of 2 or 3 with my dad and have fished ever since
What has been your most memorable moment when it comes to fishing so far? My most memorable moment so far would be, when I won the TBF Central Division Championship on Lake Dardanelle that qualified me to fish the 2010 TBFNC in Knoxville, TN. I have fished for years and have had many memorable moments, but this is the most exciting for me as far as bass fishing goes. I have won some large tournaments and am very proud that I am in a place in my life where I am able to bass fish the way I do!!
Biggest catch; when, where & how: The biggest bass I have caught in a tournament would be the one on Greers Ferry lake. It weighed 6lbs. 9 oz and it was an amazing day on the lake. I took home the win that day.  I had seen the fish the day before when I was fishing and knew immediately that I was going to go to that spot first thing the next morning and try in catch that fish! The next morning I went to that exact spot and hooked that bass first thing. All I said to the non boater that was fishing with me that day is GET THE NET I GOT IT!!!!
Do you have a good luck charm or certain thing you do when it comes to fishing? If so, what is it? I really don't have a good luck charm or certain thing I do when it comes to fishing. I just love the sport and go out and do my best and that is all anyone can do.
Name someone who is a hero to you & would like to meet someday? I would say that my hero in bass fishing would have to be Kevin Vandam
What would it mean to you to win the 2010 TBFNC in Knoxville, TN? There are not words that can express what winning the 2010 TBFNC Tournament in Knoxville would mean to me. I would probably be too excited to even talk.  I am looking forward to the tournament and hope to find out what it would feel like to win it.

Adam Williamson - Co-Angler, South Carolina

Full Name: Adam Williamson

Age: 23

Hometown: Ridgeway, South Carolina

State Federation: South Carolina

Division: Southern Division

Occupation: Retail Sales

Family: Recently engaged to Regan Grooms (“Biggest Catch”)

When & why did you begin bass fishing?  My father introduced me to fishing as soon as I could hold a rod and reel and continued to educate me about the sport on our weekend outings to nearby farm ponds. On my 5th birthday I received my first Bait Caster reel and quickly acquired the ability to manipulate it and place my bait where it needed to go. From then on fishing had indeed become my passion in life. Realizing my potential and love of fishing, my family acquired a home at Lake Wateree in 1999. I began learning the lake in a 15’ john boat, with only a trolling motor when I was 13. At 15 I finally convinced my dad into letting me use his 16’ Scout, which allowed me to not only cover more water, but better yet allowed me to fish some of the small bass tournaments around the lake. In 2003, I began fishing BFL tournaments, finishing 10th in the co-angler standings of the BFL Carolina Division, with an invitation to the Old Hickory Regional tournament in Tennessee, where I placed 17th. After a few years of watching my fishing mature as a co-angler, and seeing my strong desire and dedication to succeed in bass fishing, in March of 2007 my parents sponsored me with my own bass boat along with a financial gift to help me with a few of the tournament entry fees, at that time I was still in college. Since, I have set my goals even higher, knowing I can achieve my dreams and make a career out of what I love so much “Bass Fishing”!

What has been your most memorable moment when it comes to fishing so far? 2009 Southern Division Tournament at Lake Murray

Biggest catch; when, where & how:  My father and I were fishing in a farm pond in 1999.  My father caught a small 1 ½ lb. bass, when reeling it in to the bank a larger bass hit and swam off with it, but then quickly dropped it. My dad decided to share in the excitement, so he called me over. I retied and using a jig landed a beautiful 10 lb. 4 oz. bass.

Do you have a good luck charm or certain thing you do when it comes to fishing? If so, what is it? I always say a special prayer at Blast-off!

Name someone who is a hero to you & would like to meet someday?  I have two - my parents! But, I would not flinch at the opportunity to fish with Denny Brauer.

What would it mean to you to win the 2010 TBFNC in Knoxville, TN?  It would be my greatest achievement in fishing to date, and a stepping stone to my future and dreams for a bass fishing career.
