SAF Club News: Desert Bass Busters, AZ

The Desert Bass Busters are pleased to announce that Mr. Keith Espe, the winner of the FLW event on Roosevelt Lake in September of this year, has joined our team as a "Pro"

advisor.  Mr.  Espe is also graciously donating a portion of his sponsorship monies and winnings to the fledgling Arizona team.  Mr. Espe was also appointed to the Board of directors of Every Kid Counts Children's charity, the organization that has underwritten and sponsored the Arizona team.  Since his appointment, Mr. Espe has begun a campaign of recruiting that should result in many new members to the Arizona team.  With the contributions of Every Kid Counts and Mr. Espe, any qualifying high school student in the state of Arizona will have the opportunity to become a member of the Student Angler Federation at no charge.  Every Kid Counts will be covering the annual membership dues!  We are currently working with a local circuit and hopefully will be announcing soon our first tournament to take place in early to mid-spring.

On our first recruiting seminar at Payson High School, the first week of December, we had 54 students interested in the program.
