2011 Federation National Championship to showcase America’s best, April 12-16, on Nickajack Lake
Ponca City, Okla. (Dec. 13, 2010) – The Bass Federation, (TBF) announced today Kimball City, Tenn., and Nickajack Lake will host the widely anticipated 2011 Federation National Championship, presented by the National Guard. Anglers from seven TBF divisions competed locally to qualify for the no-entry fee 2010 TBF Division Championship Series. From there the top two anglers from each state advance one boater and one co-angler, to compete in the no-entry fee 2011 Federation National Championship. The Bass Federation is a member owned company continuing to find ways to make membership renewals easier and member benefits better for YOU! TBF and FLW memberships expire Dec. 31st, 2010. To get your membership dues updated without a gap or lapse in insurance coverage, tournament eligibility and magazine delivery, you can update NOW. The sooner we receive your membership renewals the faster and easier they are to process. Also, as long as we receive dues before Dec. 31st, 2010 we can include your membership in our counts, which go toward our continued funding and support of our core principles, youth, conservation and fishing, and YOUR full benefits. We will continue to do both TBF and FLW Outdoors membership updates online through your TBF clubs. TBF dues are $15 and have been since 2000. FLW dues will remain at $35.

You can qualify to fish in your region's divisional tournament; there are seven divisions! From there each state sends their top two finishers to the National Championship! Both tournaments have no entry fee.

The top finisher at the National Championship wins the $100,000 “Living the Dream” package including entry fees paid for a year on the FLW Pro Circuit and use of a wrapped Ranger boat and Chevrolet truck! The top angler and co-angler from the National Championship qualify for the Forrest Wood Cup and the top angler and co angler from each division qualify for the BFL All American!

In the youth arena TBF is the strongest organization around. We have growing youth initiatives providing opportunities for our future anglers. The National Guard Junior World Championship and the High School Fishing World Finals are the most elite youth fishing tournaments in the industry. Also, TBF members at the local level reach thousands of young anglers each year with programs supporting education, fishing and the outdoors.
