Virginia High School Fishing State Championship Set For April 22

PONCA CITY, Okla. (Mar. 13, 2012) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, and the Virginia Bass Federation announced it will host the 2012 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Virginia High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be Sunday, April 22 on Lake Gaston launching out of the Lake Gaston Americamps ramp near Bracey, Va. A unique element of this event is that it will follow the FLW Bass Fishing League event, held Saturday on Lake Gaston. Read More

Georgia High School Fishing State Championship Set For April 22

PONCA CITY, Okla. (Mar. 13, 2012) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, and the Milledgeville Convention & Visitors Bureau announced it will host the 2012 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Georgia High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be Sunday, April 22 on Lake Sinclair launching out of Little River Park in Milledgeville, Ga. Indiana High School Fishing State Championship Set For June 3

PONCA CITY, Okla. (Mar. 13, 2012) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, and the Dubois County Visitors Center and Tourism Commission announced it will host the 2012 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Indiana High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be Sunday, June 3, on Patoka Lake launching out of the Newton-Stewart South Marina near Jasper, Ind. A unique element of this event is that it will follow the FLW Bass Fishing League event, held Saturday on Patoka Lake. Read More

Michigan High School Fishing State Championship Set For June 24

PONCA CITY, Okla. (Mar. 13, 2012) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, and the Michigan TBF announced it will host the 2012 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Michigan High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be Sunday, June 24 on the St. Clair River launching out of the Metro Beach Metropark near Mount Clemens, Mich. 2011 TBF National Champion Has Great Showing at Lake Hartwell FLW Tour Event

2011 TBF Living the Dream Angler, Allen Boyd of Salem, Indiana had a great tournament on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina last week in his first FLW Tour event of the season as a Pro. After two days, he had 30 lbs 9 oz, it was enough for him to make the top 20 to fish on Saturday. On Saturday, he weighed in a limit that weighed 11 lbs 5 oz. It wasn't enought to make the top 10, but he finished the tournament in 14th place with a 3-day total weight of 41 lbs 14 oz. Great job Allen, keep up the great work and good luck at Table Rock in 2 weeks!

In two weeks, TBF will be crowning the 2012 TBF National Champion on Bull Shoals Lake near Flippin, Arkansas.
