2012 Federation National Championship to showcase North America’s best bass club anglers on Bull Shoals Lake, March 27-31

PONCA CITY, Okla. (March 20, 2012) – 94 of The Bass Federation’s best are packing their bags and heading to Flippin and Bull Shoals, Ark., next week for the 2012 TBF Federation National Championship, presented by The National Guard on Bull Shoals Lake. This will mark the first time in the federation’s 44 year history a championship event has been held in the backyard of the legendary founders of Ranger Boats, Forrest and Nina Wood, who got their start guiding on the white river and helped birth a multi-billion dollar bass fishing industry.

Anglers from seven TBF divisions competed locally in a no-entry fee 2011 TBF Division Championship to qualify for the event. From the division championships two anglers, the first place angler as the boater and the second place angler as the co-angler, from each TBF affiliated state federation in the U.S. and Canada advance to compete in the no-entry fee 2012 Federation National Championship. The field also contains the reigning Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) National Champions. All 94 championship anglers will face-off on Bull Shoals Lake out of Bull Shoals Lake boat dock, just down the road from the Ranger Boats plant, in the premier national contest of federation anglers. Brother/Sister Duo of Bandys High School Wins North Carolina High School Fishing State Championship

March 17, 2012 – If experience is the greatest teacher, then the family fishing duo of Kristopher and Chelsey Queen from Bandy High School are well on their way in the world of tournament bass fishing!

The brother and sister team who traveled to Russellville, Arkansas last year and finished third in the prestigious High School Fishing World Finals, captured the 2012 North Carolina State High School Bass Fishing Championship Saturday with an incredible four fish weight of 21.80lbs!

The big sack was anchored by a 7.39lb kicker that Chelsea landed from the back of the boat on a spinner bait casting around High Point Lake’s fallen timber. Read More

South Carolina High School Fishing State Championship Set For April 28

PONCA CITY, Okla. (Mar. 20, 2012) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, and the Greenwood Regional Tourism & Visitors Bureau announced it will host the 2012 Student Angler Federation (SAF) South Carolina High School Fishing State Championship.
