Stephanie Louise Gilmore is preparing to enter the history of surfing for the best reasons. The Australian natural footer was born on the 29th January, 1988, and has already collected four world surfing titles.
"Surfing is my passion, my hobby, my career, my job. It's an escape". Interestingly, Gilmore started surfing with a bodyboard. Her first victory was the Roxy Pro Gold Coast, in 2005. Two years later she was dominating the world of female surfing.

Hundreds Descend Upon Tahoe for Race the Lake of the Sky
|
Lake Tahoe’s Race the Lake of the Sky saw great competition across the board this weekend at El Dorado Beach. The three-day event was hosted the grand re-opening of El Dorado Beach Park and featured a clinic with Performance Paddling, multiple races and demos, with hundreds turning out to compete and catch all the action.
Elite paddlers Candice Appleby and Anthony Vela helped start off the weekend with their Performance Paddling clinic Friday afternoon.
