Surfing Collection is a laid back tribute to the sport

CORPUS CHRISTI - The Coastal Bend used to house a couple of Pat Magee's Surf Shops, where you could buy boards and wax, hang with friends and find out where the waves were breaking.

The shops are long gone, but the vintage surfboards and memorabilia collected by Magee, a former surf champion, have found a happy home at the Texas Surf Museum.

TSN - A new exhibit was opened this past weekend honoring John "Jocko" Taylor. - RIP.  If you missed the memorial paddle out feature earlier this month, you can see it here: "Jocko"

Recently this sand-sucker turned on in the middle of Packery Channel with local Quiksilver teamster Morgan Faulkner and photographer Dallas McMahon reaping the benefits".
