Here at the DogSmith we recognize that getting a
puppy can be both exciting and frustrating.
Puppies are delightful, cute, funny and highly entertaining. Unfortunately they don’t come with an owner’s
manual. We have changed all of that. The
DogSmith has developed Puppy Programs that provide you with everything you need
to take you from “cute and cuddly” through the ‘terrible twos” right to
“adorable family dog and best friend.” The Puppy Pack Programs are designed for puppies from 7
weeks to 6 months of age and establish the foundation for the puppy’s entire
life.

The DogSmith Pet Product Review
You would think that sharing a house with 3 dogs and a senior cat would be a piece of cake. But it usually isn't. Between our senior cat with rapidly deteriorating kitty litter accuracy and our 10 lb 'designer dog' Gizmo always wanting to play in the litter tray, we had daily messes to clean. We tried several 'management' approaches but we seemed to create a problem for every one we solved. Then the Booda domed litter tray was suggested to us.
The Booda Dome Clean Step
is an igloo-shaped litter box that dramatically reduces the litter that gets tracked onto the floor and its internal design compensates for the poor aim of aging (or lazy) kitties. The ramp into the litter area not only catches litter but it keeps Gizmo from exploring any further. The lid can be easily removed for service and cleaning. It's a great product at a reasonable price.

Keep Your Paws Off the Table! The DogSmith of East Pensacola teamed up with Tijuana
Flats Burrito Company in Ft Walton Beach, FL, to stage a 'Yappy Hour' in support of the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). The
DogSmith presented a free doggy dining workshop at the event to ensure proper etiquette was observed. According to local DogSmith owner Christina Horne, “These
events are a fun way to raise money for PAWS and help educate the public on the
importance of socializing dogs. Well
mannered dogs and an informed public are the best way to keep the privilege of
pet friendly venues alive."
