Vicki has been busy finishing work for her September show at the Nature Gallery at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.

Raleigh, Naturally which debuts on September’s First Friday.

Her NCMA Water Lilies won Honorable Mention for 311 Gallery’s August show and will be on display along with
Snowballs in May.

Lori White and Linda Eddins participated in Cathy Martin’s Dramatic Color & Bold Brushstrokes workshop at Nicole's Studio and Gallery in Raleigh. The workshop took Linda and Lori out of their confort zones, where they each created two loose, colorful 16x20 paintings in the one-day workshop.

Amy recently enjoyed a spectacular family vacation in Cancun, Mexico. She was armed and ready with her travel paints to be inspired by the bright, blue Caribbean Sea. However, due to a prior storm, she was greeted with a muddy mess full of decaying seaweed!
The poolside palm trees proved to be abundant with inspiration. Even the indoor lobby was fun to paint on a really hot day. Here you can see her tiny travel set, (Campus travel set from DickBlick.com). Amy is glad to be back to her big brush, but misses speaking and hearing Spanish.

Adrift goes on the road later this month. Tipping Paint will be the guest artists at River Walk Gallery in Little Washington, NC.
Opening reception will be August 28 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. The gallery is located at 139 West Main Street and the exhibit will be up through September 20.

Lori just delivered a new commission,
Sifca House, a portrait of an awesome house in the Keys. She is posting a snow painting to let us all remember days that aren't in the 90s!
