Just 20 minutes east of Raleigh, Clayton's historic downtown continues to grow as an artist community, with help from Clayton Visual Arts, of which Amy is president.
Amy sees her artist career and her position in Clayton Visual Arts, Inc. as being two trains on parallel tracks.

Rick is working on paintings of North Carolina fossils for the next book coming out by the North Carolina Fossil Club. Rick finds that painting for a scientific book cover is a real learning experience. Volumes I and II of the series are available at this link.

Vicki has moved into the new studio and is enjoying light, heating, and plumbing!
Two new works,
Key Lime Tart and
Orange Sunrise Pound Cake, inspired by Cakes with a Conscience®, will be on display in January. She is also currently planning her March VAE Exchange Gallery work. Selected paintings from Vicki's
Sweet and Savory series can be found at the Chapel Hill Town Hall through January.

Lori White's New Work
Lori has one painting left to sell to the right collector at the Durham Art Guild Holiday Market, which ends Saturday, Jan 3. Additionally, she'll have some new work at TPG and at Ambleside Gallery in Greensboro in January.
