311 W. Martin Street will feature Kindred Spirits in March. This is an exhibition of the works by two men, Ivan Guayasamin and Tunde Afolayan Famous, that look to their cultural roots for the power and emotion their paintings invoke. Both men infuse their work with spiritualism, symbolism, and natural emotions.

Opening reception: Friday, March 6, 6 - 9 PM

Raleigh Fine Art Society Exhibition

Lori's Pears, Watermelon, and Knife is in the RFAS show at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, 2 East South Street, Raleigh. Show ends April 23.

Elephant in Les Jardins a la Francaise


Fine Arts League of Cary Exhibition

Susan's Elephant in Les Jardins a la Francaise will be in the FALC show at Page-Walker Arts and History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop, Cary. The show will be up for the month of March. Opening reception is Sunday, March 1st from 2:00-4:00.

Tipping Paint artists were active contributors and participants in the sold out, February 21st, For The Love of Art Gala for Visual Art Exchange. The numbers from this year's event are looking good! Thanks to all that came out to support the arts, to the artists and to all the wonderful volunteers - we couldn't have done it without YOU!

Eggistentialism 2.0

311 Gallery and Tipping Paint Gallery are hosting a juried art show in May. “Eggistentialism 2.0” will kick off the Tour D’Coop and benefit Urban Ministries.

Juried by renowned artist Bob Rankin, the show is all about art reflecting the joy and beauty of chickens and eggs, the gardens they live in, and urban farming.
