Local-centric in Cary
Local-centric explores the local flavor that is at the center of our lives. We bring our unique viewpoint and artistic vision from the streets of Durham to the fields of eastern Wake County, from the iconic Krispy Kreme sign to Yates Mill, from classic architecture to the dilapidated buildings on the Dix campus.

With our work, we celebrate that part of North Carolina we call home. The show will be at the Herb Young Community Center Gallery, opening Friday, May 30 and closing on July 21. The artist reception is Friday, May 30, 6 to 8 PM, as part of the Cary Art Loop.

Susan's
Five Dogs is in the Face-to-Face show at DAG's SunTrust Gallery which ends May 12th. In this exhibit artists have captured candid moments and opened windows into someone else’s world, or their own. Beverly McIver, artist and SunTrust Endowed Chair Professor of Art at NCCU, was the juror.

Susan is also part of a 3-person show,
Arntsen, Jones, Ogden, coming up May 15th at DAG's SunTrust Gallery. The opening reception is May 16th from 5-7PM. Her work is part of a series based on her travels in France. The exhibit will be up until June 14th.

Vicki’s
Wrightsville Morning was juried into the 57th National Multi-Media Juried Art Exhibition at Rocky Mount’s Maria V. Howard Arts Center, 270 Gay Street, Rocky Mount, NC.
The show begins June 1.

Lori attended her second PACE in April to learn more about painting, see painter friends, and enjoy the beautiful coast around central California. She attended demos by outstanding painters such as Richard McKinley, Michele Byrne, Lynn Gertenbach, and Charlie Hunter. She and the 700 other attendees painted on the beach at Asilomar, in Carmel, and at Point Lobos.
