Expressions in Oils
Vicki and Linda just completed a very productive 8-week art class.
Expressions in Oils was taught by the incomparable Dave Benz through Wake Technical Community College. The class was comprised of students at all levels, from beginners learning the basics through experienced artists using the 3-hour classes as an open studio.

Morning Glories by Linda Eddins |
Many beautiful works have been created in that class. We invite you to come to TPG to check out a few of them.
The next class session starts in mid-May and it is almost certain that Vicki and Linda will be signed up and creating more art.
Vicki has been experimenting with both small works and landscapes. Going from fine details to large strokes has been a great “stretch” exercise. |

Mootown Tribute |
Two of Amy’s paintings have been selected for the Maria V. Howard Arts Center’s 58th National Juried Art Show. They are
Mootown Tribute and
Security. Only 66 out of the 235 entries were chosen by artists from ten states. The Rocky Mount show will run from June 2 through September 13.
Amy is currently taking the world-renowned
Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain course. She knows this will advance her skill set, including painting en plein air. She was one of the 27 artists chosen for Fuquay’s En Plein Air Paint-Out which took place in April.
