Hello,
Have you considered your testimony lately?
Is it all about salvation? Then what about how the Lord is caring for you in this present earthly life?
Is it all about how God blesses you in this present life? Then what about our eternal life by His salvation?
Is it all about how much you try to please God? Then what about all the ways God is changing you for the better?
The point this is leading up to is this: Your testimony needs to be balanced and giving reason for others to believe in and place their trust in our Lord Jesus Christ!
In Christ we are being made complete creatures, our lives are being completely transformed and each of us are being shaped and molded into something so unlike the world yet what this world's people so desperately need!
Are our lives showing forth that we have a hope that this world does not offer and are we prepared to share ALL the reasons for this hope we have?
Many Blessings!

From Dr. Timothy
Recently I came across this article and as you will see, it is one that speaks to a struggle that is common to many of us and yet, God doesn't intend that we keep ... REVISITING
DEAD ISSUES
by Joseph Babangida
PART ONE
When Mary hastened and left the house to go meet
Jesus, those who came for condolence visit thought she was going to the tomb of
her dead brother to weep there. But she went to Jesus instead. I don’t know why
the people thought that was the most likely place to go to moan over our loved
ones. Maybe it was customary at that time to do so. If it is accurate to assume
that was what obtains at that time – that is, revisiting the tomb or graveside
of our dearly departed ones, then Mary should be commended for breaking the
protocol of ignoring the dead to be in the presence of the Source and Giver of
life.
I can’t help thinking how very unlike Mary we seem to have become in our day.
We take a pleasure trip out of revisiting issues in our lives that ought to
have been buried out of our sights to enable us focus on the rainbow displaying
its brilliant array of colors. Some even make a career out of revisiting dead
issues so much that they enjoy nothing else.
As humans I can guarantee you that there will be times that you’re going to
disappoint others, fail them woefully, and even disappoint yourself. It’s part
of being human. When we fumble at something we should have mastered, often, we
find it difficult to forgive ourselves. That cannot be unconnected to the
pressure to perform excellently at all times.
People’s expectations of us make us go out of our way to prove to them that we
are superhuman and heroes who are always there at the appropriate time armed
with the right information to solve the problem. But supermen exist only in
comics. And life is more than comics. The realities of life are so glaring.
Sometimes we are compelled to come face to face with some of the ugly relics of
life. When thus confronted, how we handle the situation is all too important.
Maybe you made mistakes in the past that you’re finding difficult to put behind
you. It means you’re revisiting dead issues. Don’t dwell on your past; don’t
live in your mistakes. Change what you can change and what can’t be changed,
submit to God and allow Him give you the strength you need day to day to live a
guilt-free, joy-filled, victorious life.
What I’m trying to pass across to you is that anything in your life that limits
you from making maximum use of the gifts and talents freely bestowed upon you
by the Holy Spirit, is a dead issue and not to be revisited. Once it is buried,
it should no longer be the center of your thoughts.
Many times we read about the story of David’s adultery with Bathsheba but we
seldom see that even in this sad story, there are a lot of positive lessons we
stand to gain from.
Conclusion Next Week.
Many Blessings!

PROPHET'S CORNER
Fretting and fear is not the purpose of "Prophet's Corner", rather we publish this section for our encouragement to "LOOK UP" for the soon appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ as He comes to redeem His Church from this world!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also." John 15:18-20
Growing Intolerance for Christianity in U.S.
http://www.christianpost.com "In a world of political
correctness devoid of the rule of law, tolerance has come to mean total
rejection of Christianity and moral standards. Modern tolerance
redefines words like 'marriage,' 'discrimination,' 'equality,'
'morality,' and even 'absolutes.' The word 'tolerance' as it is used
today never includes opposing arguments or competing worldviews.
Tolerance has become Orwellian and decidedly intolerant." – Matthew
Staver, Dean and Professor of Law at Liberty University School of Law.
A few examples of recent intolerance for Christianity:
• The Supreme court determining to exclude anyone who prays in Jesus
name from a rotation of officials who open city business meetings
• The removal of US military Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt, over the issue of praying in Jesus Name
• UCLA’s prohibiting a graduating student from thanking her “Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” in her graduation speech
• Colleges making special accommodations for foot baths and Muslim only
prayer rooms, while a Muslim group membership may be suspended or
revoked for 57 reasons including but not limited to: unbecoming
behavior, insubordination, or inactivity; but denying Christian groups
campus recognition “because it requires its officers and voting members
to agree with its Christian beliefs"
• A San Diego elementary school created an extra recess period to allow
100 Muslim students to pray, while a federal judge upheld a Knoxville,
Ky., jury’s decision that a public school could prohibit its 5th grade
Christian students from studying and discussing their Bibles during
recess
• Christians in America have to tolerate the defamation of their holiest
images in national museums, including particularly provocative,
offensive acts defined as "artwork," some receiving taxpayer-funded
grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. On the other hand,
several college editors who cited freedom of speech when republishing
anti-Muslim cartoons first published in a Danish newspaper, were fired
or disciplined because they were offensive to Muslim students
• The Council on American-Islamic Relations (Los Angeles) requested an
investigation of the desecration of a Quran, Islam's revealed text, as a
hate crime. Conversely, when Palestinians tore up Bibles for toilet
paper (May 15, 2002, The Washington Times) there was no outrage, and
after a church in the U.S. saved and held fundraisers to afford the cost
of buying and shipping requested Bibles in the Pashto and Dari language
to an American sergeant in Afghanistan, the Bibles were confiscated,
thrown away, and burned. The only official comment about burning the
Bibles was this one, by a Defense Department spokesman, “Troops in war
zones are required to "burn their trash."
These incidents have raised several questions that Brannon Howse, author and founder of Worldview Weekend, agreed to answer:

YOU NEED TO SEE THIS!
Iranian Video Promotes Islamic Mahdi To Return Soon
http://www.newsmax.com/
A feature-length
documentary film, produced by a top adviser to Iranian President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad, claims that the cataclysmic events that will usher in an
era of Muslim world domination are about to begin, triggered by actions
launched by Iran and its Lebanese ally, Hezbollah.
Iran's Ahmadinejad repeatedly talks about the coming of the 12th imam, a
Muslim messianic figure whose “reappearance” will make Islam victorious
over the entire world.
He begins every public speech — including his yearly address to the
United Nations — with a prayer that his actions will “hasten the return”
of the 12th imam.
Now former Revolutionary Guards officer Reza Kahlili, who defected to
the West after spying on behalf of the CIA inside Iran for more than a
decade, has obtained a bootlegged copy of a new film made by
Ahmadinejad’s office that lays out the Iranian president’s scenario for
how the
end times will begin.
It won’t be pretty for Israel, the United States, or U.S. allies in the Middle East.
The feature-length documentary film produced under the direct
supervision of Ahmadinejad’s top adviser and chief of staff, Esfandiar
Rahim Mashaei, claims that the cataclysmic events that will trigger the
return of the Mahdi are about to start.
It all begins with the death of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, revolts
in Egypt and Yemen, and ends with Ahmadinejad and Hezbollah leader
Hassan Nasrallah leading Muslim armies to conquer Jerusalem.
The film, called “The Coming Is Upon Us,” is now being shown at
Revolutionary Guards and paramilitary Bassij Corps bases around Iran,
and will soon be released in an Arabic-language edition for mass
distribution in the Arab world.
“Their intention is to incite further uprisings with the hopes of
motivating Arabs to overthrow U.S.-backed governments, with the final
goal of the annihilation of Israel and Allah’s governance of the world,”
Kahlili tells Newsmax.
The film uses classic Muslim texts to convince the faithful that this
scenario of Muslim world government, led by Iran, was foretold in the
Koran and the Hadith, the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad.
It might appear innocuous — like those Christian and Jewish end-times
scholars who reach deep into the world of Biblical prophecy for clues as
to the exact date of the second coming of Jesus — except that the
Iranians are not telling the faithful to prepare their souls for
salvation: they are telling them to gird up for the coming battle with
the infidel.
