Hello,
Are you going to celebrate Easter this year? If you have learned to do after the abominations of the heathen you probably will celebrate Easter - complete with coloring and hiding eggs, chocolate bunnies, baskets for Easter egg hunts and, by the way, something about Jesus!
If you are a faithful, spiritually minded saint however, you will be celebrating Resurrection Day! Resurrection day pays tribute to the awesome power of God the Father Who raised Jesus from the dead and out of the tomb ... just as Jesus said He would on the third day after His crucifixion!
Notice that in Scripture there is absolutely no instruction to celebrate Easter in the manner that is now commonplace in the world. Once again, the modern day church community has found it suitable to make accommodations with the heathen and pagan celebrations of the world.
If you happen to be one of those who celebrate Easter rather than Resurrection Day, ask yourself this: "Is this pleasing to our Lord?" If you want to be honest with yourself - preferably before the event - visit sites such as http://www.religioustolerance.org/easter1.htm to gain some insight as to what pagan Easter is all about!
I pray that we all choose to be faithful to Christ Jesus alone and choose to reject the pagan practices that teach our children false worship!
Many Blessings!

From Dr. Timothy
This week's article is the conclusion to last week's article that I recently came across and as you will see, it is one that speaks to a struggle that is common to many of us. In this article we learn again that God doesn't intend that we keep ... REVISITING
DEAD ISSUES
by Joseph Babangida
PART TWO
When Nathan the prophet confronted
King David about his sin, he did wonderfully well by acknowledging that indeed
he had sinned hence he repented. How about us today? Do we get down on our
knees in brokenness and tears when the Holy Spirit is convicting us of
something wrong in our lives, or do we choose to ignore His gentle prompting
and do our own thing?
In spite of the fact that David was forgiven he still had to bear the
consequences of his sin. The son borne out of this sinful union will die. Let
me stop here and say that the baby is going to die not because he did anything
wrong. Neither is the baby going to die because it was wrong that he was born. Simply put it was just the judgment of God on the sin of David and Bathsheba.
After the King was assured of forgiveness, he immediately went into prayer and
fasting interceding for the boy’s life. He left the administration of his
entire kingdom in the hands of his counselors and sat in ashes. He refused food
or anything that would lessen his burdens. But on the seventh day the boy died.
David’s subjects were afraid. They were like: “While the boy was yet alive the
King refused our words of comfort, what will happen now that the baby is dead?”
As they were conferring among themselves how best to approach the matter, David
perceived that something was amiss. At his insistence they acceded to having
lost the baby. David’s next actions astounded his officials.
Let the Bible
speak for itself:
David got up from the floor, had a bath, combed his hair, and
changed his clothes. Then he went and worshipped in the house
of the LORD. When he returned to the palace, he asked for food and ate it as soon as it was served.
“We don’t understand this,” his officials said to him.
(2 Samuel 12:20, 21a Goodnews).
But that was not all. He went ahead and explained to them why he did what he
did. And it made perfect sense. This is what comes next: Then David comforted
his wife Bathsheba. He had intercourse with her, and she bore a son, whom David
named Solomon. The LORD loved the boy and commanded the prophet Nathan to name
the boy Jedidiah because the LORD loved him (vv 24-25).
Can you see where I am going with this? When David was told his boy was dead he
didn’t revisit dead issues. Instead he tidied himself up, worshipped the LORD,
ate some food, made a sensible explanation, comforted Bathsheba and went ahead
to have another baby whom God personally named Jedidiah – loved by God!
If that issue has been dealt with, you are no longer bound by it. Ignore all
those who make it their duty to remind you of what happened in the past. Yes,
tears have been shed, lessons have been learnt, forgiveness has been sought,
the price paid and corrections have been effected, what else? Go ahead and
birth new things with the support of the LORD. Whatever you do never, never,
ever revisit dead issues. Let the dead bury the dead. Thank God that you’re
alive. Praise God you made it. Let nothing stop you.
Stay at the top!
Many Blessings!

PROPHET'S CORNER
Fretting and fear is not the purpose of "Prophet's Corner", rather we publish this section for our encouragement to "LOOK UP" for the soon appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ as He comes to redeem His Church from this world!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also." John 15:18-20
An Invasion of Israel In 2012? A look at Jewish prophecy
FROM: Prophecy News Watch
Note from Prophecy News
Watch - While we don't agree with a number of interpretations given in
this article we thought the scenario outlined in terms of coming
potential events was through provoking and worth sharing with you as to
what some Jews are expecting in terms of both prophecy and future
current events.
Maimonides teaches that the Jewish Oral Tradition does not clarify the
details of future events described by the Prophets of Israel in the
Bible. In his words, – "and in all these things and related matters man
will not know how they will come about until they come about." In other
words, no one knows exactly what the Prophets are describing until it
takes place.
The Jewish Oral Tradition gives us abundant guidance on matters of
Halakha – for instance, the – “the fruit of the beauteous tree to be
taken on Sukkot” - is defined by the Oral Tradition as the etrog – the
citron. Or, the Biblical injunction to"bind them as a sign on your arms
and frontlets between your eyes" we understand from the Torah she-Beal
Peh refers to phylacteries – Tefillin – which are cubic black leather
boxes containing parchments inscribed with very specific Biblical
passages. Without the Oral Tradition, we would have no way of knowing
this.
A comparable guide to understanding prophetic statements, however, is
not revealed by the Oral Tradition. For instance, Isaiah 60:08, in
reference to the returning of the Exiles to Israel in the Final
Redemption, states: – "who are these who will fly like a cloud, and like
doves to their dovecotes?"
Before the era of piloted manned flight began in the early twentieth
century, classical commentators were simply unable to understand this
passage. Today, when virtually all modern-era immigrants have reached
Israel by flying at the altitude of clouds, and, like doves, always
landing in the same place – the Ben Gurion Airport, we understand
clearly the prediction of Isaiah concerning this phenomenon of airborne
ingathering of Exiles.
Another example is Isaiah 26:20 - “Go My people come into your rooms and
close your doors behind you, hide for just a moment until the fury
passes". The Biblical commentator Radak comments that this will occur
during the War of Gog Umagog and the reference to "rooms" is allegorical
and refers to "taking shelter" so to speak, by doing good deeds and
doing penance. Rashi states that the Jews will go to their synagogues
and study halls at that time.
As we now know, this passage is a very accurate description of the
seclusion in the "sealed rooms" used as a protection in Israel against
chemical warfare agents in the first Gulf War in 1991 and the "fury
passing" occurred when the "All Clear" sounded (the code words were
"Sharav Kaved") allowing people to exit the sealed rooms after the Scud
missile landed and was determined to be chemically non-threatening.
As Maimonides had said, when the prophecy comes to pass, we are able to understand the passage, and so it was.
The People of Israel have been experiencing events described as those of
"Acharit Hayamim" – the "Last of the Years" [not, as often
mistranslated, "The End of Days"] referred to by the Torah and the
prophets, when there is to be a massive ingathering of Jews to the Land
of Israel, an extensive rebuilding of the country and its communities,
and a Golden Age when - "for from Zion shall issue forth Torah (Teaching
= knowledge, including technological and scientific advances) and the
Word of G-d from Jerusalem" Isaiah 2:3 and Michah 4:2.
It is tempting to explore prophetic and Midrashic sources to look for
the context of unfolding events. This study leads to encouragement as to
their salutary outcome, despite the difficulties and challenges we face
at present.

We are including the following again this week for those of you who did not see last week's Times ...
YOU NEED TO SEE THIS!
Iranian Video Promotes Islamic Mahdi To Return Soon
http://www.newsmax.com/
A feature-length
documentary film, produced by a top adviser to Iranian President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad, claims that the cataclysmic events that will usher in an
era of Muslim world domination are about to begin, triggered by actions
launched by Iran and its Lebanese ally, Hezbollah.
Iran's Ahmadinejad repeatedly talks about the coming of the 12th imam, a
Muslim messianic figure whose “reappearance” will make Islam victorious
over the entire world.
He begins every public speech — including his yearly address to the
United Nations — with a prayer that his actions will “hasten the return”
of the 12th imam.
Now former Revolutionary Guards officer Reza Kahlili, who defected to
the West after spying on behalf of the CIA inside Iran for more than a
decade, has obtained a bootlegged copy of a new film made by
Ahmadinejad’s office that lays out the Iranian president’s scenario for
how the
end times will begin.
It won’t be pretty for Israel, the United States, or U.S. allies in the Middle East.
The feature-length documentary film produced under the direct
supervision of Ahmadinejad’s top adviser and chief of staff, Esfandiar
Rahim Mashaei, claims that the cataclysmic events that will trigger the
return of the Mahdi are about to start.
It all begins with the death of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, revolts
in Egypt and Yemen, and ends with Ahmadinejad and Hezbollah leader
Hassan Nasrallah leading Muslim armies to conquer Jerusalem.
The film, called “The Coming Is Upon Us,” is now being shown at
Revolutionary Guards and paramilitary Bassij Corps bases around Iran,
and will soon be released in an Arabic-language edition for mass
distribution in the Arab world.
“Their intention is to incite further uprisings with the hopes of
motivating Arabs to overthrow U.S.-backed governments, with the final
goal of the annihilation of Israel and Allah’s governance of the world,”
Kahlili tells Newsmax.
The film uses classic Muslim texts to convince the faithful that this
scenario of Muslim world government, led by Iran, was foretold in the
Koran and the Hadith, the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad.
It might appear innocuous — like those Christian and Jewish end-times
scholars who reach deep into the world of Biblical prophecy for clues as
to the exact date of the second coming of Jesus — except that the
Iranians are not telling the faithful to prepare their souls for
salvation: they are telling them to gird up for the coming battle with
the infidel.
