The Legend Of Valentine
According to legend, the valentine takes its name from a young Christian who once lived in ancient Rome. Like so many of the early Christians, Valentine had been imprisoned because of his faith. Often and longingly he thought of his loved ones, and wanted to assure them of his well-being and his love.
Beyond his cell window, and beyond reach, grew a cluster of violets. He picked some heart-shaped leaves and pierced them to spell the words, "Remember your Valentine," then sent them off by a friendly dove.
But on the next day and the next, he sent more messages that simply said, "I love you." Thus did the valentine have its beginning. (Encyclopedia of 15,000 Illustrations: Signs of the Times.)

Considering Love
Our culture longs to know love, yet rejects the only True Source of Love ... God!
Our culture longs to experience love, yet refuses to allow the Only Way to Love ... faith in Christ Jesus!
How do we know this? Because our culture has created a day for celebrating love, which is the first major shopping event of the year and the third largest holiday in terms of retail sales!
Of course I don't have any opposition to celebrating Valentine's day, but as Christians we are to be different from the world and so, just as with the birth of Christ and the resurrection of Christ (which events we highlight on one day per year), I believe that as God's children we should celebrate Love every day of the year!
That being said, here are some thoughts for Valentine's Day ...
- And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love!
- Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up!
- Let all that you do be done with love!
- For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
- Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love ...
- Walk
in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an
offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
- And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment.
- But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
- Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
- And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins.''

Temple Institute Reveals First Blueprints For Portion Of The Third Temple http://www.templeinstitute.org/
In his recent USA
speaking engagement tour, (January 2011), Rabbi Chaim Richman of the
Temple Institute revealed to the public for the very first time detailed
construction plans for the Chamber of Hewn Stone: the seat of the Great
Sanhedrin which is a central component of the Holy Temple complex on
the Temple Mount.
These complete and highly intricate plans constitute the first stage of
an historical undertaking of the Temple Institute: the drafting of
blueprints for the entire Holy Temple complex. These plans, drawn up by a
top Israeli architectural firm hired by the Temple Institute, take into
account the specific requirements of the Sanhedrin assembly hall, known
historically as the Chamber of Hewn Stone.
At the same time these plans incorporate modern technological
infrastructure necessary to a twenty-first century facility: this
includes internet ports, wireless communications systems, computer data
storage, elevators, air conditioning and underground parking. All these
modern amenities, and many more, have been integrated into the Sanhedrin
structure without compromising the integrity of the great assembly's
physical or spiritual character.
No land can be prepared, no foundation can be laid, no wall can be
erected without a detailed
architectural plan first being drawn up, approved by engineers and
presented to the appointed site manager. The plans you are viewing on
this page fulfill every requirement necessary for the immediate
commencement of work on this aspect of the Holy Temple complex.
The Sanhedrin Chamber of Hewn Stone is but a single chamber in the
northern wall of the Holy Temple. It was chosen as the initial focus of
the blueprint project, not because of its architectural significance,
per se, but because of its overwhelming spiritual significance to the
world. The seventy elders of the Sanhedrin have been vested with the
authority of the seventy elders whom Gd commanded Moshe to appoint in
the desert:
"Then HaShem said to Moses, 'Assemble for Me seventy men of the elders
of Israel, whom you know to be the people's elders and officers, and you
shall take them to the Tent of Meeting, and they shall stand there with
You. I will come down and speak with you there, and I will increase the
spirit that is upon you and bestow it upon them. Then they will bear
the burden of the people with you so that you need not bear it alone.'"
(Numbers 11:16-17)
These elders are not only judges, but also teachers who task is to
ensure that "for out of Zion shall the Torah come forth, and the word of
HaShem from Jerusalem." (Isaiah 2:3) This being said, it should also be
noted that the Chamber of Hewn Stone sits in close proximity to the
Ark of the Covenant , from which the sages draw Divine inspiration.

New IMF Report: The U.S. Dollar Needs To Be Replaced As The World
Reserve Currency And SDRs "Could Constitute An Embryo Of Global
Currency"

The IMF is trying to
move the world away from the U.S. dollar and towards a global currency
once again. In a new report entitled "Enhancing International Monetary
Stability—A Role for the SDR", the IMF details the "problems" with
having the U.S. dollar as the reserve currency of the globe and the IMF
discusses the potential for a larger role for SDRs (Special Drawing
Rights).
But the IMF certainly does not view SDRs as the "final solution" to
global currency problems. Rather, the IMF considers SDRs to be a
transitional phase between what we have now and a new world currency.
In this newly published report, the IMF makes this point very clearly:
"In the even longer run, if there were political willingness to do so,
these securities could constitute an embryo of global currency."
Yes, you read that correctly. The SDR is supposed to be "an embryo"
from which a global currency will one day develop. So what about the
U.S. dollar and other national currencies? Well, they would just end up
fading away.
CNN clearly understands what the IMF is trying to accomplish with this
new report. The following is how CNN's recent story about the new IMF
report begins....
"The International Monetary Fund issued a report Thursday on a possible
replacement for the dollar as the world's reserve currency."
That is exactly what the IMF intends to do.
They intend to have SDRs replace the U.S. dollar as the world reserve currency.
So exactly what are SDRs?

THE WORD MEANS...
Hope; ground or basis of hope; what is hoped for. It means to expect with confidence; to anticipate knowing; to look and long for with surety; to desire with assurance; to rely on with certainty; to trust with the guarantee; to believe with the knowledge.
Practical Application
Note that confident expectation of salvation is hope, anticipation, looking and longing for, desiring, relying upon, and trusting. But it is also confidence, knowledge, surety, assurance, certainty, and a guarantee. When a justified man becomes stronger in character, he draws closer to God; and the closer he draws to God, the more he hopes for the glory of God.
