Volume 2, Newsletter10March 17, 2011

Hello,
Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ!
We have seen God move in such phenomenal ways in the last couple of weeks!  Here are but two of several incidents that have occurred ...

Wife Glenda was hit with abdominal pains so horrible, so intense and so unrelenting that she insisted that an ambulance be called.  I phoned men I knew to be trustworthy in prayer - they pray as led by the Holy Spirit!  We prayed that God would remove the cause of the pain and that she would be free of whatever affliction was trying to come upon her.
After all the tests and X-rays - after the CAT scan, the doctors reported that there was no evident source of what had happened!
Every thing was normal!  Her abdomen was no longer hard as a block of cement!  Praise God and to HIM be all glory!

A friend of ours was losing a family member to cancer and it was a horrible ordeal.  We prayed that the Lord would grant peace, grace and comfort to the patient and to all the family.
The man went to Heaven a week or so later ... and it was reported to me that the man's suffering WAS countered by God's grace; the family was given overwhelming peace and the man's passing was in peace!

Do you need our Father to intervene in the affairs or circumstances of your life?  He will and will do so in the way that will bring about the best result for you if we are but faithful to direct all the glory to Him!

Many Blessings!

TRUE HOPE TIMES

From Dr. Timothy
 DO YOUR PRAYERS HAVE POWER?

The longer we are God's children the more we tend to speak in "Christianese".  You know, buzz words and catch phrases that are probably meant to encourage us and spur us on to keep on keeping on but in reality are often without foundation and can do more damage than good!

This is really true when it comes to the matter of prayer!  Probably, we have all said things like "Prayer makes things happen"; or, "Prayer changes things"; or, "You know, there's power in prayer"!

Ok, before continuing, you have to promise to read this to the end.  Ok?  Deal?  Thanks!

The problem with statements like these is that at best they are misleading and at the worst - - THEY ARE FALSE!

Wow!  How can that be?  Most likely we have all prayed and witnessed the miraculous happen in response!  Quite likely we have all experienced those times when we prayed and something beyond powerful occurred!

At the same time, how many times have we prayed only to experience frustration, discouragement, even despair?

If we want to have a consistently positive experience in our prayers, we must have a consistently correct perspective and understanding about prayer!  Now let me explain ...
"... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."  James 5:16

To begin with, if we are not living righteously, our prayers are not going to avail much.  Secondly, notice that prayer only avails - it connects us to something available ... prayer itself doesn't interact with our situations, circumstances or events at all!

You see, prayer is our connection to THE ONE Who has the power to change things!  It is not the prayer that changes things, it is GOD that changes things!
  • Prayer DOES NOT make things happen - - GOD DOES!
  • Prayer DOES NOT change things - - GOD CHANGES THINGS!
  • Prayer DOES NOT have power - - IT IS GOD WHO HAS THE POWER TO ANSWER PRAYER!
We will be looking at this further in the weeks ahead, but for today let me leave you with this ...
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."
1 John 5:14-15
THIS is one of the keys to effective prayer - - praying according to His will not ours!

Many Blessings!
Dr. Timothy

PROPHET'S CORNER
TSUNAMIS & END TIME SIGNS
In 2004 which was the last Tsunami caused international crisis, the Lord gave me a new insight into the signs by which we can more fully recognize the times in which we are living and that yes, these are the final days of the Church Age!

Luke 21:25  "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring"

In 2004 a Tsunami hit that left the nations in the world on a precipice from which we fell into financial disarray; let's look at it:

Nations in distress being perplexed on how to deal with the devastating effects that THE SEAS AND WAVES ROARING are having upon us!

2004 - 2005 Tsunamis and Hurricanes cause unprecedented devastation in both lives and financial damages.

2006 - 2007 Global unrest resulted in oil prices rising and setting the stage for a global financial meltdown.

2008 - 2010 Due to the damages and the costs to insurance companies and banks, nations the world over began to financially crumble and the U.S. housing market began to collapse.

2011 - Second major Tsunami in just over 6 years and the nations of the world will be financially distressed again. The perplexity will worsen with nations losing abilities to deal with the losses and begin to seek a global solution!

Along with the upheaval in Middle East Arabic nations and Israel now known to have enormous shale oil reserves that are needed by nations ... the stage is definitely set for the nations to welcome the Anti Christ for both the peace treaty regarding Israel and the solutions to the financial distress the nations of earth will find themselves in.

Today?  Tomorrow?  Another 10 years?  It doesn't matter.  What does matter is what Jesus said ...

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.  Luke 21:28

How many more must occur before we finally acknowledge that "these things have begun to come to pass"?

LOOK UP!!!

Ezekiel's Spoil Revealed?   Israel's Natural Gas & Oil Shale Reserves Valued In The Billions
Libyan oil accounts for less than 2 percent of world oil production, yet the revolt against Muammar Gaddafi has managed to shoot up the price of oil to more than $100 per barrel in the last month.

No one knows how long the internal instability in the Middle East will last, but according to the US Department of Energy, its share of the world’s total oil supply is expected to actually increase in the years ahead.

Simply, the world is using up the reserves of non- Middle East oil more quickly. Moreover, of the trillion barrels of proven reserves still left, according to the CIA roughly 800 billion barrels are to be found in the Middle East and North Africa, especially in Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq.

The implications for Israel of the West’s growing dependence on Middle Eastern oil are troubling, for obvious reasons. Yet there are two new developments in our energy sector that could well offset these trends and eventually alter our standing in the world, especially with respect to Europe.

First, the gas discoveries in the Eastern Mediterranean, which began to produce commercial quantities of natural gas in 2004, are generally well-known. The Tamar field, which should begin production in 2013, is expected to supply all of Israel’s domestic requirements for at least 20 years. The Economist suggested in November 2010 that the recently discovered Leviathan field, which has twice the gas of Tamar, could be completely devoted to exports.

All the undersea gas fields together have about 25 trillion cubic feet of gas, but the potential for further discoveries is considerably greater, given that the US Geological Survey estimates that there are 122 trillion cubic feet of gas in the whole Levant Basin, most of which is within Israel’s jurisdiction.

After the Leviathan discovery these numbers could go up further. Perhaps for that reason, Greece has been talking to Israel about creating a transportation hub for distributing gas throughout Europe from the Eastern Mediterranean that will come from undersea pipelines.

What is less well-known, but even more dramatic, is the work being done on this country’s oil shale. The British-based World Energy Council reported in November 2010 that Israel had oil shale from which it is possible to extract the equivalent of 4 billion barrels of oil. Yet these numbers are currently undergoing a major revision internationally.

A new assessment was released late last year by Dr. Yuval Bartov, chief geologist for Israel Energy Initiatives, at the yearly symposium of the prestigious Colorado School of Mines. He presented data that our oil shale reserves are actually the equivalent of 250 billion barrels (that compares with 260 billion barrels in the proven reserves of Saudi Arabia).

Independent oil industry analysts have been carefully looking at the shale, and have not refuted these findings. As a consequence of these new estimates, we may emerge as the third largest deposit of oil shale, after the US and China.

Oil shale mining used to be a dirty business that used up tremendous amounts of water and energy.

Yet new technologies, being developed for Israeli shale, seek to separate the oil from the shale rock 300 meters underground; these techniques actually produce water, rather than use it up.

The technology will be tested in a pilot project followed by a demonstration stage. It will be critical to demonstrate that the underground separation of oil from shale is environmentally sound before going to full-scale production. The present goal is to produce commercial quantities of shale oil by the end of the decade.

This particular project has global significance.

For if Israel develops a unique method for separating oil from shale deep underground, that has none of the negative ecological side-effects of earlier oil shale efforts, that technology can be made available to the whole world, changing the entire global oil market.

The effect of the spread of this technology would be to shift the center of gravity of world oil away from Iran, Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf to more stable states that have no history of backing terrorism or radical Islamic causes. (In the Arab world, Jordan and Morocco have the most significant oil shale deposits.)

When will the West begin to treat Israel as a powerful energy giant and not as a weak client state that must be pressured?
