Dear Colleagues
,

This month we are pleased to release our report on OIP-ISR activities for fiscal years 2012 and 2013. We are proud to celebrate the ongoing successes of our inventors and licensees in developing new products and services based on UCLA innovation, which have culminated in bringing a number of new UCLA technologies to market.

In addition, three members of our office will be representing UCLA in workshops and on panels at the upcoming annual meeting of the Association of University Technology Managers in San Francisco later this month. I will be leading a discussion on “Optimizing Your Patent Budget,” Chief Operating Officer Ragan Robertson will be running an advanced course for administrative professionals, and Assistant Director Karla Zepeda will be a panelist in a discussion entitled, “Has AIA Changed the Way Universities Pursue Industry Collaboration?”

In addition, we have a number of exciting events coming up on campus, including OIP-ISR’s 2nd Annual Medical Device Partnering Conference on March 11th.

We look forward to seeing you on campus!

Sincerely,

Brendan Rauw
Associate Vice Chancellor and Executive Director of Entrepreneurship
