Welcome to this edition of eNews and to readers who've recently joined us.
I've just recognized that this edition did not publish earlier this month as scheduled, so here's a belated September edition.

As summer and holiday memories fade for those in the northern hemisphere, the pending elections may be diverting attention from opportunities to be a part of various 'advisory' groups, as several have needed to call more than once for candidates. Another reason may simply be a general reluctance to volunteer?

If you’ve been planning to buy from the UFWDA ‘online’ store, we advise that for logistic reasons the product availability is temporarily disabled. The donation function is however still available.
Your input of topical material for each eNews is still vital, so please keep UFWDA and our readers informed by emailing to editor@ufwda.org before the 10th of each month.

Make a Difference; Register to Vote

UFWDA encourage you to make your voice heard on Election Day in November. Many state voter registration deadlines are getting close, so make the effort and when voting, think about your favorite Jeep trails and how that vote might affect your future access to those trails.

Our Daniel Boon Byway, or DBBB project, has been long in development and process. Now with grant funds and additional volunteer assistance we have secured access to 105 apprx. miles of trails in and around the Daniel Boone Forrest area, and Red River Gorge, near the Slade, Ky area. We have a Meet & Ride coming up there on November 12 for anyone who wants to join us. The Off-Road Business Association, Inc (ORBA) is teaming up with the University of Nevada Reno to collect important economic information pertaining to off-highway motorized recreation in Nevada.
