They are caught up in Satan’s lie that this is all there is for them. There is a lady there that has been coming for 10 years and accepted Christ this summer. In her testimony she tells that through my friend and her husband God has been chiseling away at her heart for all these years and now she is free from a lifestyle of sin and shame. Dear Ministry Friends & Partners,
As we reflect on the passing of another month we do so with great joy and excitement. Joy for all of the experiences we were a part of over the last several months and excitement to see what God is going to do in the months to come. It has been a whirlwind year for us with November marking our 15th month here in Guatemala. We are thankful for all that we have learned and grateful we don't have to go back and learn it again.

We have moved into our new ministry facility and it is a tremendous blessing to have such a wonderful place to hold worhsip services. Taylor and I are working with a small group of children during Sunday School (Escuela Domincal) in one of the classrroms while Bobby is able to teach in the main sanctuary. We are working alongside Pastor Vicente Manzanares and his wife Yessenia in every aspect of the church plant. Everybody is involved from teaching to praise & worship. I am playing the keyboard for a few songs with Bobby as worship leader. We are having such a good time and God is blessing us with His Presence. The number of children has grown to around 35 on Sundays with most of them being boys. We have been impressed with how well the boys are listening and participating. I am praying that God is going to grow up godly young men from this group. The girls are just as sweet as they can be and they love to draw and color. Please pray for the adults that through their children they may be reached. God is moving in His church.

The end of July brought with it Lakeside Baptist Church. Through a medical clinic, God’s love was brought to the people of Jocotillo. We are so thankful for this wonderful team who was willingly to sacrifice a week of their time and raise an incredible amount of resources to tell these hungry and thirsty souls about the bread of life and the living water of Jesus Christ. Vacation Bible School, El Jocotillo

Peace Haven came the first of August with puppets, crafts and games for a Vacation Bible School. We had VBS for 3 days with around 80 children every day. Some of the mothers came and I think they enjoyed the crafts as much as the children did. Thank you Peace Haven for being Jesus to the children in Jocotillo. Your light shone strong and I am so excited to see what God is going to do in the lives of these, His precious children. Click here to read more.

Hickory Grove Baptist Church came in September and spent a week with us in a new area we have wanted to start a work in for 3 years. Not only were we excited but also the residents of “La Barranquilla” made themselves available as we performed the demolition of a dangerous pedestrian walkway. The ministry objective was to provide the necessary resources to build a new pedestrian bridge but when it was all said and done God used the work to build a relational bridge to share Christ.
