Greetings,

With the summer coming to a close, we hope that this finds you reflecting on a fantastic fly-fishing season. Our photo board is covered with big fish, big smiles and wonderful memories and we thank you for choosing WorldCast Anglers for your fly-fishing adventures.

Fall is right around the corner and we find ourselves swapping the shorts and sandals for waders and fleece in preparation for an incredible fall season full of uncrowded rivers, thick hatches and hungry trout. With fishing conditions improving daily, fall is one time of year not to miss.  If you are not around the Greater Yellowstone area this fall, we will keep you posted with the fishing conditions via our new
Fishing Report webpage. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Get Ready for a Great Fall!
Bean Brown Trout

WorldCast Anglers has seen some awesome fishing
this summer season however, we are most excited for what is to come this fall. With the recent push of cool weather and high snow pack from the 2007-2008 winter, we received only a taste of what our fall fishing is going to bring. Rivers will be vacant of their normal summer users and full of water, bugs will be hatching, leaves will be changing colors and the fish will be hungry.

There is no better way to experience these wonderful fall days than on the river with one of our experienced and professional guides. The Snake, South Fork, Henry's Fork and Teton rivers will all have some of the best fishing days available during these months, please contact WCA at 1-800-654-0676 for availability this fall.
WCA Dominates 2008 One Fly!
Cutthroat Trout The Jackson Hole One Fly tournament brings together the best guides and fisherman from around the globe to compete for two days, fishing with only one fly each day. Points are based on fish size, overall number of fish caught, and keeping your chosen fly for that day, and WorldCast Anglers excelled in the 2008 tournament. The Jackson Hole News and Guide article documenting the entire event can be viewed on our "WCA in the News" webpage.

WorldCast Anglers' Mike Bean (Guide) and Jim Hickey (Partner and Guide) dominated the competition with some impressive numbers. Jim Hickey's two day total of 1,150 points netted him second place overall and earned him the "Top Gun Award." This honor is awarded yearly for the best fly-fishing professional in the tournament. Hickey's Team, the "Horse Creek Hookers," also tallied 2,590 points and grabbed 3rd place overall. Mike Bean took home "Top Idaho Guide" honors with an unbelievable 2,601 points and guided both the first place winner, Bud Chatham, and second place winner, Jim Hickey. For reference, Top Wyoming Guide honors went to a total score of 1,541 points. Congratulations to Jim and Mike for a job well done and representing WCA's unsurpassed level of angling excellence!
