Elevator pitch by Lem Fugitt
Elevator PitchOne of our friends, Patric Spohn, just started a fantastic new company that promises to create great memories and exciting experiences for all comers.  Patric's company,  AbseilingMe™ will be offering abseiling (rappelling in English) training to all comers, Japanese, American, UK, and all around the world.

Patric was literally bubbling over as he explained how visitors will be able to rappel down mountain sides, cliffs, bridges, and even a waterfall.  His new venture is located in Gunma prefecture, just two hours from Tokyo using the bullet train.  The area sounds like an adventurer's paradise, with skiing, mountain climbing, white water rafting, bungee jumping, and with the addition of rappelling, 21 outdoor sports in total.

To channel and focus Patric's energy and enthusiasm, we suggested that he try the classic marketing "elevator pitch" technique.  Since it was a new concept for him, at first he didn't grok it at first, but once he did get it, his eyes literally lit up then he suddenly jumped off his stool, signaled for us to come along, and headed straight-away for the building elevator.  Here's what happened next.
:: Abseil this weekend ::

:: What is a Kamoshika? ::
Drive a snowmobile
KamoshikaWe were out at Hodaigi in Gunma last weekend and tested the snowmobiles of Snowmobile Tours Japan.  The tour was individual arranged.  Driving through deep forest and a campsite until we arrived at a 40-meter waterfall was truly spectacular.

We also spotted a Kamoshika, a rare deer that can only be found in Japan.  Contact us if you would like to drive a snowmobile this weekend or at least, check out the pix and video taken from this adventure.
