:: Three Million Yen ::
We are asking
Elevator PitchAbout 3,000,000 Yen is the amount we asked from the government-run loan company to reform our base at Minakami in Gunma.  The meeting was held last Friday with results to follow this coming Friday.  Wish us luck in receiving the approval, as otherwise we are not sure at this point how to proceed if the loan does not go through.  We are on track with the opening scheduled for May 1 otherwise.

Last week's featured article "Outstanding Rappelling Adventure" by Lem Fugitt received lots of feedback but we need to correct the YouTube link that was displayed incorrectly.  Click here to see the interview in elevator pitch format.

Temperatures are on the rise, making the need for heating in Tokyo irrelevant since a few days.  Minakami is slightly cooler with fresh air and millions of stars to count at night.  Take a dip at Takaragawa hot spring after hiking through mountains along rising rivers this weekend.
:: This Saturday ::
Just a few quiet weekends left
Easy Abseiling Another professional training session is scheduled for this weekend.  Two adventure seekers are welcome to join Patric for hands-on practice by Lincoln.  Regular, sideways, face-down, and 10-meter bridge abseiling is on the agenda for this coming Saturday.

Departing from JR Ueno station at 08:39 with the Rapid Urban will get you to Minakami for 2,940 Yen by 11:34 with actual training scheduled from noon to sunset on either day.  Or take the Tanigawa #405 Shinkansen from Tokyo at 09:44 and arrive Jomokogen in just 1:19h.  We will take care of transportation from either station.  Contact Patric if you would like to participate in this pre-opening course priced at 10,000 Yen.
