The Betties' Picks:
Best Organizing Books, Magazines, and Websites

"It creeps and leaps, and glides and slides across the floor...."

No, not the Blob...CLUTTER.

One day we turn to see that a harmless stack of books by the bed and a couple sweaters on the chair have grown into shapeless heaps and piles of stuff.  Replicating wildly while we’re at work, the jumbled mess topples and spills inward from the walls…

“How did it ever get like this?” we moan; and, more importantly, “Where’s my other red shoe?!”

The real question is, “How do I conquer this mess?”  The first rule of battle is, “Know thine enemy.”  But these chaotic mounds defy definition.  It’s all our stuff, but somehow, we’re not sure what it all is!  It’s overwhelming!

We Betties understand the fear of clutter.  We all need a boost sometimes, and since most of us don’t have a personal clutter coach, we’ve compiled our favorite organizing books, magazines and websites below.  Check these out, and you will find all the inspiration and knowledge you need to stop the madness!

 Miss Olive's Green Scene

My sensitive whiskers detect the rumble of misgivings.  In your English, these qualms seem to be along the lines of… “Aren’t all these magazines and books just going to add to the very clutter we’re trying to rid ourselves of?”

Because I’ve grown so fond of you, Dears, I will overlook the dangling preposition and offer a green solution to your dilemma.  Check your organizing books and magazines out of the library! If you borrow a book or magazine repeatedly, you might consider buying a copy. Otherwise, scan what interests you into your computer, then return it. This way the info is at your paw --- oh, dear… fingertips, and you have saved paper.  And what’s more, Dearies, I will be so very purrrroud of you!
