I'm very excited to be moving into a space that can accommodate our entire staff.
We've been planning this move for several months and we think the central location will help staff as well as future franchisees.

A Peek into the Past...
Laid off from a corporate marketing job in 2003, Sharon McRill turned joblessness into an opportunity in the midst of an ailing economy.
As a busy professional herself, she’d fantasized about having a personal assistant. Thus was born the business concept, which grew into “My Gal Friday,” later renamed “The Betty Brigade.”
A resident of Ann Arbor since 1991, Sharon graduated from the University of Michigan in 1994. |

The Big Move...
Yep, The Betty Brigade is relocating its headquarters to a larger Ann Arbor location! As of January 15, our address will be:

Ann Arbor MI 48105
And why are we moving, you ask? Because we're growing!
We are now a team of 10, including professionals in organizing, home project management and staging. In an effort to better serve our corporate and personal clients, we have established:
-
a communications department;
-
a safety/OSHA compliant division; and
-
a regular staff training regimen. |
Present and Accounted For...
Our two biggest mainstays continue to be moving coordination and organizing.
Moving Coordination
When
we step in to help a client move, we love to watch the stress
evaporate. Our involvement can range from creating personalized
checklists and timelines to coordinating an entire move -- even being
there at the end to unpack, place furnishing, and shop for items needed
in the new location.
Organizing The other most popular request we get it for assistance with organizing. When people need to get their stuff straightened out, we're the ones to call.
Maye it's the garage, the basement, the attic, or the office. We help sort through papers, clothing, photos, books, recipes--whatever there is too much of. Then we help set up an individualized system our client can easily live with and use.

A Glimpse into the Future...
Plans are underway to franchise the business nationwide -- truly an exciting prospect!
Meanwhile, we Michigan Betties look forward to continuing to work with busy professionals on moving, organizing, event planning, home staging, pet care, errands -- anything our clients need done but don't have time to do themselves.
