米国芸術基金は４月28日、米国人が舞台芸術に費やす時間や金額、舞台芸術関連団体の収支など具体的な統計を含む報告書を発表しました。この報告書は、米商務省と労働省による統計を基にまとめられたもので、これら最新の調査によると、舞台芸術業界は8840の組織から成り、年間136億ドルの収益があると述べられています。
