米国大使館レファレンス資料室から新しい情報をお知らせします。
 
大統領の芸術・人文科学委員会から５月６日、芸術教育に関する報告書が発表されました。芸術教育は、創造力と革新的な思考力を育成するだけでなく、学業達成度の向上、中退率の低下、学習への参加の促進にも大きな役割を果たすと述べています。また、世界経済で競争力を保ち、革新的であり続けるには、科学や数学だけでなく芸術教育が不可欠であると言及しています。
