A quintessential Japanese winter experience is taking a dip in a natural onsen (hot spring). If you're a bit brave you can consider trying a public onsen where you must bathe in the nude, but if you prefer solitude then a private onsen is the way to go.

Cherry Blossom Forecast 2019


JNTO's 2019 Cherry Blossom forecast has been uploaded and the sakura are expected to bloom earlier this year. Tokyo's forecasted flowering date is 24th March and expecting full bloom on 31 March, and Kyoto's forecasted flowering date is 26th March with full bloom on 3 April.
