As the ski fields of Japan experience an abundance of Ja-pow, we start to think towards the upcoming months, such as the glories of spring and the beauty of an everchanging landscape. 
A quintessential Japanese winter experience is taking a dip in a natural onsen (hot spring). If you're a bit brave you can consider trying a public onsen where you must bathe in the nude, but if you prefer solitude then a private onsen is the way to go.

Japan Meteorological Corporation has recently released their 2019 Cherry Blossom Forecast with the expectation they will bloom a little earlier this year. Tokyo's forecasted flowering date is 24th March and expecting full bloom on 31 March, and Kyoto's forecasted flowering date is 26th March with full bloom on 3 April. ANA new direct flights from Perth

For those in Western Australia who want to fly direct to Japan, this news is for you! Starting from 1 September 2019, All Nippon Airways (ANA) will have daily flights between Perth and Tokyo Narita.

JR West to start online train bookings

From March 2019 JR West wiill launch a service to allow travellers to purchase JR Tickets before they arrive. After arriving in Japan, customers can pick up their pre-purchased tickets from various locations.
